West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

In waking, Samantha had whole-heartedly expected to find Aiden at her side judging by the warm body that she'd snuggled against. The cat-like man was certainly a surprise, one that had allowed a yelp to escape her lips, one that was immediately rewarded with the snicker from the man. The fear that had sprung in her was clearly the cause of the gold glitter that rained from seemingly nowhere, though Samantha was entirely in awe of how it had happened. She was perhaps lucky for the glitter, it had halted the scream that had been near on her lips, distracting her from the boy that had taken up residence on Aiden's bed with her and threatened her with those fangs and hisses. She was certainly fearful of the man, it was obvious by the way she shifted away to the other side of the bed that she wanted nothing to do with the strange man. It was clear, really, that this was the illusive Tobi, and while the faerie girl had promised Raven to treat him with kindness, the threatening stance of the man had Samantha certainly on edge.

But then that threatening was gone, the emotion that flickered from the man shifting from pleasure at her fear to... to delight? But not at her fear, no, but at the shiny gold glitter that had coated them all. She flinches at his sudden movement, preparing herself for an attack that instead was merely his hands clapping together. The confusion of it all, the threat of the man, it was all overwhelming for the faerie girl who was hardly a morning person, and she found the tears that came to her overwhelming. Samantha had never been a quiet crier, not really, any sobs that ever raked her tended to be loud blubbery ones. The bubbles that float around her only amplified by the threat that escapes the man in front of her, and with it the tears, though she does make some effort to cover her mouth to quiet herself.

"I'm... sorry..." Samantha managed through the sniffles that had claimed her. "I can't help it, I... You scared me... I... Please don't b... bite me... I'm... sorry..."

If anything, Tobi's threat only worked to make her tears worse, the bubbles seeming to appear in rapid fashion out of nowhere. They bounced against each other, going to float above Tobi's head and away from the bed. The faerie girl let out a small yelp as the man leaps off the bed, clearly anticipating he would make do on the threat he'd offered her. Instead, the man chases the bubbles in a nearly childlike fashion. Samantha watched him, the tears slowing in her confusion and... and amusement? at the way he seemed genuinely baffled that he couldn't catch the floating orbs. The tears stopped after a minute, replaced with a bit of laughter at the six foot tall man bouncing after the bubbles like a toddler would. The end of her crying had stopped the bubbles, and with that the feline had focused on the girl once more, the question asked no more of a threat than a kitten.

"They're bubbles," Samantha explains quietly, though she certainly hoped that he didn't ask where they came from, for she couldn't explain that even if she tried. "Bubbles... they pop when you touch them. They're made... of soap, I think?"

The explanation is seemingly unheard, however, as the man bounces back on the bed, covering them both with the blanket. She doesn't move at his gesture for her to crouch down, instead the fae takes a pillow and tosses it on her lap, covering up her state of undress. "They're not..." She started, swallowing as she reached up to put a piece of her hair behind her ear. "They're not coming back. I don't know where they came from, but I think I made them, and I can't do it again. Part of my... power, I think. But I can't do it again. I'm sorry."

Whether or not he believes her remains to be seen, but the girl's eyes focus on the male at her side. She gives him a small, nonthreatening smile as she answers his question. "I'm Samantha, but... you can call me Sam. I'm Aiden's girlfriend... you... you must be Tobi?"
