West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Well it wasn't as bad as she thought. She could have tighten it up a bit, and really not launch herself as high. Maybe a few extra goes she might nail it fairly well. Yet didn't really matter what she thought. It mattered only what Tobi thought of her ability. It was odd though that she hadn't heard anything. Puzzled she turned her dial around only to notice Tobi falling off her and into the sand. Shocked she quickly turned around standing over his fallen frame. Why would he fall off? He had a tight grip on her fur. She gently poked her cold nose into his chest, her pink tongue gently sliding from his neck over his face, feeling him begin to wiggle and wake up. Seeing his eyes begin to flutter open she lifted her face out of his, barely, blue-grey eyes holding a concern gaze as she waited for her mate to wake up. Seeing his eyes hold the golden color that belonged to his other half, cause her dial to tilt to the side curiously. Hearing his warm baritone voice soothed her worry, if only slightly, after all he still had that frown on his face. His admittance that Tobi was being difficult tonight caused her to shake her dial ebony and whine softly. She still didn't understand what it was they would be doing, but seeing how this obstacle course wasn't for 'fun' she assumed that this must be the way to get gifts, or at least, how they got Christmas gift. When he placed his hand upon her muzzle she closed her eyes, nuzzling him gently as he exclaims the trouble they were in. She stared at him, her ears flicking back and forth, a way of a shrug, not so sure how to answer him.

Quietly she followed him away from the obstacle course, shifting when ordered. With a small smile she placed her hand into his extended one, gently squeezing it in a reassuring manner, letting him know she was okay. She allowed him to lead her up the gangplank, leaning her frame against his own. As they walked through the Ark she noticed how his golden gaze flickered back into that dark color, standing still beside him, giving him a moment. After all she didn't know which side of Tobias would be in control. When she noticed his golden gaze returned she nodded and allowed him to walk her up the stairs stopping in front of their bedroom as he spoke. She bit her lip worriedly as he suggested her to wear something nice. She was hardly the type of girl that knew how to make herself look decent. Nadya knew how to make herself appropriate, but the woman was not here. Samantha could help her, but she never stepped foot into the West District the night of his death. She wasn't quite sure how she would pull this off, but she nodded a bit hesitant. As they entered the room that they shared together she noticed how he stepped into the bathroom first. When she heard the shower turn on she stood there for a moment eyes widen, ready to barrel through the door should she hear him scream or get upset, but she heard nothing. Assuming all was okay she ran through the wall Tobi had bitten threw to cause their two separate rooms to become one. Entering her own shower and getting cleaned.

When she stepped outside in her robe she could not see her mate, but she could hear him getting dressed. Going to her own wardrobe she pulled back the hangers and the typical ratty clothes she wore. Not once did she try to make herself wear something...nice. It was one thing that she did like about her mate â€" he didn't care what she wore. There was one dress she had found that she rather liked, she had bought it because Samantha wanted to do a double date some place nice, but they never did get the chance. Slipping the navy blue dress and heels to match on she took a few steps to look at herself in the mirror. For a moment she couldn't help, but notice the scars the slid up and down across her entire body, biting her lip once more in a worried manner. Shaking her head she went over to the dresser and pulled out a small bag and placed a little bit of mascara on. When she was finished she headed back through the torn wall taking a step outside to be shocked by the sight of her mate. Her eyes would widen as they scanned her companion, surprised to find him dressed so well and his hair was in place. A wide grin appeared on her scarred face, pleasantly surprised at what she was seeing.

"I've never seen you dressed...like this before!"

Hurriedly she walked over to him, tripping slightly on her heels, after all she wasn't used to wearing them, but when she reached his side she place his hand on his chest. She couldn't help it, she had such a goofy grin on her face, as her hand was placed gently on his chest. It was hard for her to believe what she was seeing. Her hand would gently trail up to settle on his shoulder hardly believing what she was seeing. As she leaned into him she inhaled his scent catching how pleasant it was. He hadn't showered in so long that she forgot what it was like to have him smelling so well. The cologne did belong to Tetradore, but it smelled uniquely to Tobias own scent, quite satisfying to inhale. Carefully her hand ran up to his cheek, noticing how clean his hair was, liking all these very small changes that made such a big difference. Brightly her chipper voice held a delightful tone.

"Oh you washed your hair, you smell clean. You look very handsome Tobias!"

Of course Raven knew this was such a rare moment. Tobias was in his different mindset, he was clean, and he was dressed so well. It would be nice of Tobias always was clean when his other half was in control, and it would be nice if he dressed up occasionally, but she loved the two of them still. It didn't matter to who which one was in charge, how they were dressed or how they smelled, what was important to her was that he was happy and he wanted to be with her. Her pink lips would press gently to his own lips, leaning her frame against his own, enjoying this rare moment of her companion being so clean. Around her neck the burn from the silver chains she received from the Dark Hunter left a trail, but it was ringed by the white-gold chain that held at the end of it the leopard charm. Her hand would gently go to his own, as she squeezed it gently, in a reassuring manner. She was hesitant about doing all of this, going to a place she was unfamiliar with, wearing clothes that she wasn't accustomed to. With a worried look in her eyes she looked down for a moment, before looking back up at him, looking for a sign of reassurance that everything was going to be okay.

"So, I don't quite understand. What was it that they did together and why are we dressed, so very well?"
