West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Forever moving, it's nearly impossible to find without knowing someone who knows someone. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
I could only imagine this boat thing took some effort to get used to. I mean hell, I was still trying to get used to the rocking and I was just walking on it! But I guess, we all have things that took time to get used to. My kind likes to sleep in trees. I could sleep super hiiiighh up from the ground and wake up without having to move at all! It was great! I imagine that would take getting used to too. But I was getting a bit off topic, wasn't I? What were we discussing now? Oh yes, the sea of red! Her friends with all their love of bloodshed must be exhausting too but she only laughs it off as if it really doesn't bother her at all, and, I guess, really, it must not. After all, it's what they liked right? And a good friend was supportive as long as no one else gets hurt! This whole Ark thing seemed like it was a voluntary hurt so...I guess that was the expectation right? Still, I listened as she informed me that, usually, she wasn't quite the talkative type. I get that. She seems friendly but, maybe a little shy, not that I minded at all. "That's okay, I'll talk enough for the both of us." I informed her with a rueful grin. See, I know I can be a bit overwhelming everywhere and full of thoughts that my mother used to say I should keep to myself instead of just blurting out. I can't help it! I mean, I have gotten better at it! Kind of. Maybe it was a good idea to forewarn her of what she was getting into with me after all...

It was, however, this topic of masked marauders that so had me entirely baffled. I can't help but to wonder why people bothered to be anything they weren't in the first place. That seemed like a lot of work and then, people would only like you for who you were pretending to be and not who you really were and that just sounded sad. I kind of felt bad for her that she'd met people like that and solemnly I nodded at her. "How can you tell when someone's wearing a mask? What do I do if I meet one of these people?!" This was some pretty complicated stuff here and I was determined to get it right, especially since it didn't sound like she'd had a good experience with them and...well...this was an awfully big city and I was kind of on my own. If I got into trouble, I couldn't rely on Dad to help me out like he and mom used to. I couldn't help but to be a little bit worried about this. Thankfully though, I didn't have to dwell on this too long and soon enough we were talking about one of my favorite topics. FRIENDS!

I might have gotten obscenely excited that Alexis was willing to be my friend. I mean, she seemed utterly awesome. She was pretty and she lived in a big cool boat and she seemed pretty knowledgeable about the city. It was great! Her giggles only made my grin grow even wider as I asked her if she was seriously okay with being my friend. My shiny new THIRD FRIEND. Ahhh!! I never thought I'd find a third one!! Maybe, she'll even be my best friend?!?! "What's your favorite color, when is your birthday and...." I paused, trying to think of something else I might want to know to start our epic friendship. "...andd....what do you do when you get bored?" Well! It was a valid question!! I was trying to get to know her and what better way than to ask questions?! My never ending line of questioning, however, was momentarily thwarted as she opened the door, leading me out onto the deck. Even with her brief gesture of where I was going, I had to admit to myself I was still hopelessly lost. Thankfully, my awesome new friend seemed to pick up on that, offering to come with me and I couldn't help the way I could have just hugged her for suggesting it. She seemed to notice my happiness on that though, I was being a bit...energetic. I like to think I was just enthusiastic!

It was her own idle comment that drew me from my lost-in-giant-city thoughts though. "I don't know about that. Your city is very...bricky." It was the best word I have for it. "There's not enough greenery. I mean, I like the touches of the trees in front of the apartments and stuff but..." I shrugged, it was rough going from a small town in the mountains to a busy paved over metropolis. Thank god there was a park right near my house, otherwise I might die from lack of nature life! "A favorite place?" I inquired, my finger raising to tap against my lips in thought. "I haven't really been many places yet." I admitted sheepishly. "I guess Hyde Park has been my go-to so far....what's yours?" I inquired, turning on my heels to look at her. I mean, if she has a favorite place I'd like to go there too and check it out! I bet she knows some pretty cool places around here!
