West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

It wasn't often Tetradore saw fit to speak of his feelings upon the Nordic man who had, in some resemblance, become the very thing he loathed. Frost was a topic he mostly ignored in the same fashion that he treated the man himself. Voicing even as much as he had thus far was altogether peculiar for the usually stoic man and yet, Tetradore was hardly oblivious to that look of curiosity upon the woman's features as she sat across from him - at least, until he provided her with none of the details she was so clearly desiring. A soft chuckle left his lips at the girl's rather blunt words. It really was a shame, as much as he hated to admit it, he enjoyed the coyote far more than he had anticipated she might, particularly given her often instigating demeanor. Still, tonight he found himself filled with a peculiar sense of being let down. It was a sensation he pushed away, instead leaning his head upon the palm of his hand in an entirely lackadaisical fashion as his emerald eyes remained steadfast upon her. "Not particularly, no. The less you know, the less involved you may be." It was his effort, in a way, to shelter her from ending up on the wrong side of that confrontation, even if she was no longer a viable option for him.

It was that which so prompted a particularly mischievous thought within his mind, one he suspected she might not wholly reject him upon. That idea of so 'rubbing against her', as he had so eloquently put it, only seemed to draw laughter from her lips, a sound that managed to prompt a almost boyish grin upon his features - as rare as such a gesture was. He watched the way her shoulders shrugged ever so slightly and yet, in this she seemed wholly game, that grin still remaining upon his features as she so air quoted his words. "Would you rather I said, 'let's cuddle'?" He inquired and yet, his tone was wholly teasing, the man quite clearly satisfied at getting back at the equine in a manner so subtle and yet, wholly vexing. She might have been Frost's, but the horse was going to have to deal with the knowledge that she still kept his company, at least, for the time being she'd hardly fallen sway under whatever amazing skills the opposing Alpha had to woo his own sister.

It was that very mention of his own status as Alpha that so seemed to surprise the girl, prompting his perhaps more sardonic nature to fall from his lips. Often, Tetradore was quite...controlled with his emotions and yet, somehow, she managed to so loosen the man in a fashion he well knew was...dangerous. Still, he could hardly help the way he smirked at the girl's tongue, much less her insistence that he didn't have to be snarky. "That's rich, coming from you." He muttered with a soft chuckle in his voice. The young coyote had been perhaps the epitome of snarky each time he'd met her. For her to now lecture him was quite the unexpected turn of events. Still, he could hardly blame her for taking an interest within those pack tensions, after all, she was involved in this now. Hesitantly, he stated that it was hardly territory that had prompted that rift but rather...his sibling that Frost seemed after. His head bobbed in confirmation of her inquiries on his sibling's species before, slowly tilting to the side in consideration. "I...suppose it is possible, but rare. Generally one were's gene will dominate over the other but I have seen it before." A small shrug crossed his shoulders before her attention turned towards that beverage he was indulging within.

He could see that confusion quite clear upon her features, prompting that clarification he'd offered her and yet, the woman's rather disgusted tone only managed to amuse him. "You're probably right. But, if you drink enough of it, it does make things....fun." It was the best way he could explain that lowering of inhibitions and the sanctuary alcohol could provide. With someone like her, it certainly wouldn't take long for a drink such as this to work through her system. "Do you like strawberries?" He inquired, fully willing to pay for her to have a sip of something sweeter to provide the woman with a glimpse of understanding on why so many favored those 'gross' drinks. For him, it had either been a social thing or to obliterate those feelings that had tugged at him. It was hardly a good coping mechanism, but...she hardly had to know that. Rather, he was altogether content to watch her as she went over the delight of being mortal, including, most of all, the ability to pick things up. It was amusing really, the man chuckling in the wake of it as he nodded ever so slightly. Still, he hardly expected for the woman to take an interest in what he had been involved in of late, her question saw him pause before he mentioned that water buffalo he'd bested within the ring. Her insistence that she would surely take on something to retaliate caused a small snort to leave his nose. "I expect to hear the full story with all the details." He commented, grinning back at her.
