West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

That shrug that crossed his companion's shoulders at that idle inquiry was met with a small raise of his eyebrows and yet, the answer alone brought a near rueful grin to his features. He could hardly deny that Tobias was wrong in any sense. Women were entirely fickle creatures by nature, often upset over things that seemed ridiculous and contrite to the were-King. He had perhaps thought Raven above such nonsense and yet...she was of that fair gender all the same, falling to those same bizarre whims that they would never understand. "Isn't that the truth." He commented, leaning his head back upon that pillow only for his gaze to drift upwards towards the ceiling in consideration of this. Really, he did attempt to puzzle out those tears but the young woman never quite reacted how he expected her to. She always ducked her head around him as if he was going to hit her when he'd never even raised a hand in her direction and then for her to cry tears of sorrow for his return? It was as if the woman was scared of him rather than accepting him as a near brother-in-law. A soft sigh left his lips before Tobias' voice distracted him with the inquiry of presents.

Tetradore shifted towards the edge of that bed, fully intending to simply let those concerns of Raven vanish in place of those truly delightful gifts he had for that leopard. He paused only at the sound of Tobias' voice inquiring to how well of a job he'd done within his absence. That mention that Tobias had remained within his own bedroom during those months he was gone, however, caused a small frown to cross his features as he eyed the man at his side. That assurance that it was Tobias job only caused his eyebrows to furrow further and yet, he voiced hardly a syllable of those thoughts that crossed his mind. It was...strangely endearing, really, that Tobias had so guarded his room with such utmost faith in his return. He knew well it was simply due to the fashion at which the boy had failed to grasp that situation and what truly had occurred and yet - that loyalty, that faith, that friendship...all of it was far more than anyone had ever given him before. Not even Samantha, with all her affection, or his sibling, with their parents blood running through her veins, had offered him such pure...love. A weak simper crossed his features as he reached out to ruffle Tobias' hair. "Thanks." He uttered simply, hardly dwelling upon such rare moments of tenderness. It simply wasn't in their nature.

Instead, the man rose to lead the way out and into that familiar hallway. He had missed this place, his fingers reaching out to trail along the walls as he walked those pathways down towards that garage. This was exactly where he belonged - not cooped up in that windowless room of the Tavern. He pulled open the garage, entirely unwilling to allow that surprise to be ruined as he pulled his companion into that welcoming embrace of darkness. Tetradore could hear that soft huff that left his friend's lips and yet, he did little more then offer a soft chuckle as he moved through that space towards that light switch - soon flooding the large space with lights to reveal the presents he'd been most pleased to return with. That exclamation that left Tobi's lips shortly after brought a grin to his features as he nodded, moving with the boy towards that blue Bugatti that now sat alongside their usual favored Lamborghini. "It goes faster than the Aventador." He commented with a hint of glee, his hand resting upon the hood. That question of whether or not they would go driving was met with a small nod and yet - tonight it would not be that lovely new vehicle they'd be testing on the streets of the city. Tonight, Tetradore had something else in mind.

Instead, the man gestured to the second vehicle he had acquired - this one drastically different than their usual preference and yet, it was perfect for the inevitable dents, scratches, and possibly even crash it might endure. He watched as Tobias attempted to make sense of the vehicle, those words, when they finally did come, were broken as they so often were and yet, it seemed, his companion had remembered. Tetradore nodded ever so slightly, "It is. Tonight I'm going to teach you how to drive." He plucked those keys from his pocket, gesturing for his companion to get into the passenger side as he took up his customary spot behind the wheel. Once Tobias was at his side, Tetradore turned on that vehicle, gently urging the far more sluggish car from the depths of that garage. He had little intention of teaching the boy in any place that might provide any sort of collateral damage, much less the docks where they might risk the chance of going into the lake. Oh no, Tetradore had made other arrangements. He drove that vehicle out to a large fenced off airstrip, the airplanes themselves had already been tucked inside their hangers for the evening, leaving the men with nothing but strips of runways with striped lanes for their use. It was the most perfect place he could get. "Ready?" He inquired, glancing over at the boy as he put the car in park, fully prepared to risk his life yet again.
