West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

As the weather grew colder, Malia grew more miserable, especially in her human form. At least as a coyote, she would be getting in her winter coat and could keep warm that way but like this...basically naked with no fur (well, hardly) to speak of, the clothes just couldn't do enough to keep her warm. She bundled up as well as she could, putting on layer after layer, but it still wasn't enough. She shivered and chattered her teeth and annoyed everyone around her with her whimpers. She figured it was probably better to stay more in her coyote form around winter but it was just too darn fun to be human now that she was learning so much more about what they could do! She moved smoothly through the back streets of the west side, careful since she knew that it was Tetradore's pack territory. She knew at least if she ran into him or Henry, she'd be okay but she didn't know anyone else in Tetradore's pack. Either way, she was too confident and stubborn to avoid the place just because someone else owned it. She'd avoided pack lines many times before, why stop now?

She was starting to get a really fresh smell of meat and it drew her further into the territory, her mouth practically watering by the time she saw the building ahead. It smelled of pure meat heaven and she was sure to memorize the area in case she wanted to come back later. For now, she was still on a certain panther's trail and was pleasantly surprised to find it leading here as well. Of course she figured a panther would be a meat eater but she wondered how Frost felt about that, given his vegan preferences. So weird. How could he not like meat? She'd thought about tricking him into it more than a few times. She wondered if he could taste meat when he kissed her. Was that a thing? She was curious. She almost didn't see the panther until the last minute, pausing in her tracks when she got another strong whiff of her, her head snapping and she smirked proudly when she saw the big black panther sitting there, patiently waiting...on what? Did the meat man deliver? She licked her lips at the thought.

It seemed Nadya recognized her, but she would have Frost's pack scent on her anyway so even if there were other were coyotes around, she should be pretty easy to recognize. Besides, don't panthers have good night vision or something like that? She shouldn't be that hard to pick out. She was the only coyote she knew in town that walked the back alleys so close to humans . Nadya didn't waste any time, asking straight away why she was here. Malia only smirked wider. "Looking for you, of course. What are you doing? Waiting on him to throw out the scraps? Does he do that?" She was curious, glancing over at the building again, her eyes dilating a little at the smell of all that fresh meat. It smelled absolutely heavenly. She moved closer to the panther, sitting beside her as if she'd come to wait with her. Why not? Maybe they could chat until she got the motivation to go see what she had to do to get some of that meat she kept smelling. Her tail thumped the ground as she waited, wondering if it tasted as good as it smelled.
