West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

What You'll Find Here

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

we built this city on broken glass

He had not anticipated, in any sense, the ready curiosity Malia seemed to present him with when it came to his own story. One he never told in full and most often hardly card to re-live. Those few pieces of that history he offered her merely an effort on his part to assure he was hardly the sort of being to offer her any sort of advice when he had not lived that very experience himself. Advice, after all, was all but useless to his mind if those giving it had not experienced that very thing themselves. The stallion making a rare effort to....bond in some fashion with the woman- or at least alleviate that distress that seemed to cling to her. Malia was strong, resourceful, independant and in time she would come to see it for herself. In time she would come to realise it was her old pack that had needed her, not she who had needed them. She was already beyond them and yet he understood that safety of familiarity all the same. Breaking out of the barriers of comfort were never easy. Those feelings of...guilt he suspected she felt could be like thorns in the side if given the chance. He was hardly an emotional being in any sense. In fact, the stallion was damn near the opposite and yet Malia was a member of his pack, she was beneath his care and that alone was enough of a reason to inspire that need to remove whatever unhappiness seemed to taint her. That sudden question on whom had captured his Mother seeing his gaze drift briefly across that landing as if he almost anticipated seeing something. Frost sighing softly. Curiosity, he supposed, was healthy in some measure.

"She was captured by the Hunters who ran the place I was born. They brought her there and a little over a year later she had me. There were....complications when I was born. She could not have any more children. She taught me to be an Alpha because I was her only chance. I have a very great respect for her."

He paused once more. The man frowning slightly at that utterance of words he had not considered in a very long time and yet they were undoubtedly true. He respected his Mother more than he had ever respected any other being. She has risked everything for him. She- his only true and remaining family and she remained out of his reach. How that very fact so had a habit of.....irritating him. Dangerously so. Frost pushing away that anger for now if only because it would do little good to dwell on it. He would be ready, soon, to return to that very place he had been born and so set about exacting that revenge that had been years in the making. Just a little longer. Surprise suddenly touching his features at Malia's question of Hunters/ Had the woman truly no idea of what a Hunter was beyond a man with a gun hunting for food or pelts? Frost determined to assure her of that answer if only to instill within her that simple understanding that they were to be avoided at all costs.

"Those are a type of Hunter, yes, but not the type I am talking about. When I say Hunter's I am talking about supernatural men and women whom were created to destroy other supernatural beings. Vampires, Witches, Warlock, Fae and Werecreatures like us. They are far faster and far stronger than human Hunters. They do not need a reason to kill Malia. You will find, in time, that you are capable of sensing them. It is best if you leave any area they are in, you understand? The ones i grew up with kept my kind as a...pet. If that makes sense to you. A disposable pet."

There was no small measure of disgust in the utterance of those words, Fros offering that single utterance that his Mother still remained in that place and beneath their control. The woman kept alive purely as a lure to bring him back, he knew it as well as they did and yet he could hardly deny that final thread of power they had over him. Malia suddenly seeming to straighten up before promptly declaring they needed to free her. Frost allowing that small simper to touch his lips then. His head nodding.

"I am nearly ready to do just that."

He uttered simply, the man offering no more details of that plan he had already begun to put in motion. Frost attempting to brush aside those concerns the woman held for him and his Mother in turn. As if the stallion hardly knew how to deal with that...emotion and perhaps he didn't. Frost simply unused to having another care about his well-being in any sense. The man simply unsure of how to deal with another displaying any sense of concern. His mind instead shifting to that topic of Tetradore. Frost assuring the young woman it was hardly a crime to menton the other Alpha's name. His lip quirking slightly at that retort again. His shoulders shrugging once more.

"I had a bad day that day, so did he- but the truth of the matter is simply that Tetradore and I have no concern for one another. What's done is done. He and I are content to exist without any need for further antagonism. I expect the same from any members of my pack to his. Do not let anyone else fill your head with nonsense about what they do not understand."

If Malia wished to spend time in the company of anyone in that pack he saw no need to stop her, his words merely a warning not to allow the words of others to afflict her own judgement upon things. Himself and tetradore had solved their differences. Any lingering animosity from any other members of either of their packs was their own personal vendetta and little to do with either Alpha. Frost unwilling to have Malia caught up in such nonsense. He had no time for pointless politics. He and Tetradore had clashed and they had moved one. It was simply the way of the world. His words shifting then to provide Malia withthat assurance that, in time, that world itself would slowly become easier- even if she hardly believed it now. Humans were foolish, a sentiment she seemed to readily agree with. His mention of their incapability in the Wereworld seeming to please her and yet the words were entirely true. Humans would never outlast them. She would, forever, have that over any human she ever met. Frost simply assuring her that she only need that confidence and even when she hardly felt it, that pretending would surely suffice. His own species having employed that very trick for longer then history itself recorded. People believed what they saw. If Malia acted unconcerned or unafraid- those around her would believe it and sometimes that was all that was needed.

Frost lent easily back on that bannister then. His arms folding over his chest at that admittance that he found that human world...dull to an extent. In the least his mind so constantly craved an engagement it rarely found. Malia quick to admit that she too suffered that same affliction. The stallion hardly surprised in any sense. She was sharp, intelligent and perhaps, akin to himself- she simply required a purpose. Still- perhaps it was better to start her off with something small.

"When you ran with Ceaser's pack, how did Ceaser go about adding new members to the pack? Outside of breeding. I hardly wish to know about his habits in that regard. How did he go about recruiting? That is, getting others to join him."

The stallion paused then, seeking an understanding of Malia's own ideas on the subject to see just what the woman already did or did not understand of the notion. That question holding a distinct purpose all the same, Frost making no effort, for now, to further explain it as he merely waited for her response.
