East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

She will forever be the one that binds me to her, the only one that I'll want in my arms and against my lips. I prove just that by the way I dip her down, deepening the kiss as my fingers entangle in her hair. Her moan only complicates things, making my thoughts roam to more adventerous things we could be doing right inside her house but alas the night awaits and I don't want to disappoint. I've been looking to get her out on a proper date ever since I got back and tonight is the night to start making up for my absence. After all, we have eternity to show our undying appreciation for each other's flesh.

She rolls her eyes at my lack of an answer and I chuckle, enjoying her antics as I always do. I hear her voice trying to stop me as I get out and open her car door. She looks confused and I don't blame her but I never meant to do the expected. That would be boring. I hear her pleading tone and as she offers her hand, I wrap my fingers around it gently, pulling her up and toward me on the railing. My fingers entwine with hers, giving it a gentle squeeze as I look into her eyes and smile. Her other hand coils in my shirt and my smile grows to a carefree grin at her question. "Because we're immortal, love." With that, I jump off the bridge, aiming to have her jump with me into the wild waters of the river. When we land in the water, the rapids pulls her hand from mine and when she comes up, she'll notice that I don't immediately come to the surface.

I could be holding my breath just trying to tease her....or am I? But soon enough, I come up in the water a little behind her, laughing as I reach my arm around her waist to pull her to me. "You mean the world to me, you know that?" I smile, leaning in to plant a passionate kiss on her lips before I grab for her hand to tug her through the water to the waiting shore. As we come up on shore, she'll start to notice that the ground is lit up by headlights, the headlights of the mustang itself that we left up on the bridge. I can be rather quick when I put my mind to it. Spread out on the ground in front of the car is a quaint little picnic with all kinds of vampire friendly food and snacks, a mixture of human food and those more acquired to our special taste. There's wine as well. I squeeze her hand again. "Well?"
