East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Samantha Cassidy

Truly, Samantha could have said that she didn't care if she interacted with any of the other supernatural groups within the city limits of Sacrosanct, and yet it was that visit from the blood Dark Hunter who had acted as though her Monarchy was barely a blip on his radar that had changed her mind. His blatant words of not caring who she was had put the girl on edge. No, she wasn't naive enough to think that she wanted to be on the Council's radar - that was suicide for herself and the few faeries that followed her. But not being laughed at every time she introduced herself would be a start. So, it was in the interest of diplomacy, or something of the sort, that even had the Fae Queen branching so entirely out of her comfort zone. The faerie girl had walked by Red on the Water nearly every day for the past year and some months that she had worked at the burlesque, and yet she had never gone in until that disastrous night that Nadya had dragged her to the gala. She hadn't wanted to go to the stupid party, and yet Nadya had insisted that all the leaders of the city would be there. Samantha had, perhaps naively so, gone along with that plan even though Aiden himself had decided against going. As it turned out, she hadn't got to meet anyone important that night.

Tonight would be different. On the night of the Gala, Nadya had so carefully pointed out the redheaded vampire that owned the very bar that the party had been in as the leader of the local vampire coven. Samantha would be the first to admit that she hadn't particularly cared for what that information would mean at the time, and yet as the time had gone on, it had grown in importance with every passing moment. It was that alone that had the redheaded Fae Queen pushing her way into the beautiful building and making her way towards the bar. The classy establishment was certainly unlike the pulsing crowd of the burlesque. The empath found herself almost instantly more at home within those walls. The patrons were calmer than the lusty atmosphere of the burlesque, and while the pressing of all those emotions made her head throb, it didn't make her as dizzy or ill. No, the empath might be able to even stand Red on the Water, even if her youthful face made her look decidedly out of place.

It was on her way towards that well stocked bar that had her colliding directly with another body. "Oh, I..." She stammered out as she grasped at the person's arms to steady herself in the heels she wore. What a wonderful first impression for a Faerie Queen to fall nearly flat on her face in front of the people she was here to impress. With her cheeks flushed, the young woman found herself raising her sapphire gaze to the face of the person who she held so tightly to. The vampire that stared back was incredibly handsome - a fact that only made her blush more - and entirely intimidating. "Oh, I..." She repeated as she stepped back, raising her fingertips up to twirl around a piece of her red hair to occupy herself. "I'm so sorry. I'm... I'm looking for a woman named Isolt, I've been told by a friend that she owns this place, and runs the coven associated with it. Do you happen to know where she is? I'd really like to have a word with her."
