East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

He had a weakness for sweets. In fact, calling Tetradore's obsession over those delicacies a weakness was quite near tame in comparison to his well-known love for anything on the sugary side. Those baked goods were one of the few things to coax the were-King from the comfort of his own well-established territory, prompting frequent visits to the Southern portion of town for his favorite, to date, bakery. They knew him by name now, the man tended to buy a large portion of their stock each time he visited with the simple knowledge that whatever he brought home would be pilfered not only by the Ark at large but also, primarily, by his Beta and childhood best friend. It was quite near amazing that neither of the pair had any cavities to date, though Tetradore was inclined to believe their status and weres and thus their healing abilities had something to do with that dental hygiene. As it was, their cookie stocks had diminished into nothing, that cake Raven had the weekend prior had been reduced to little more than crumbs and Tetradore found himself wanting. At the very least, Tetradore was altogether certain that he deserved a treat.

There had been rumors, of late, of the opening of a new bakery upon the Eastside of the ever-changing metropolis. One with a very uninventive name at that - The Bakery. It was that very fact of the small store that had so spurred the gossip mill. Frankly, he found the establishment questionable by marketing standards alone and yet, it was almost customary that he gave each bakery at least one chance. It was that very decision which caused the man to leave the confines of that warm cargo ship, that leather jacket with its woolen inside was quite firmly nestled against his fit frame, even if he fully intended to utilize one of those many sports cars he so collected. For a moment, his fingers danced over those hoods, the man momentarily indecisive. It had been some time since the Saleen had seen the roads...her poor engine probably needed the exercise. He fell with peculiar grace into that leather seat of that silver sports car but a moment's later, that vehicle quite near purring beneath his hands as he guided it into the blithering cold of Sacrosanct's streets. It had been wet lately though the temperatures had not yet plunged those few degrees needed for it to turn into snow. Frankly, Tetradore almost saw this artic rain as worse then those ivory flakes if only how they so soaked everything they came in contact with.

It hardly took that sporty car long to come to a halt in front of that new bakery, the yellowed hue lighting inside almost made the place look all the more...quaint. That warmth it so promised was nothing short of a godsend - all he had to do was make it from that heated leather seat to the front door. A soft sigh left his lips the man unable to help the way his mouth pressed together in a hard line before he turned that vehicle off and begrudgingly opened the door to that dismal weather. He easily closed that distance between the car and that bakery, the man quite near relishing in the warmth that so embraced him the moment he stepped in. That feminine voice that called from the back briefly garnered his attention and yet, he hardly voiced a syllable in return. His hand reached out to run through those wet locks as Tetradore made his way towards that case, passing by another customer who had clearly just acquired his own goods. Those striking emerald eyes hardly even glanced up at the young woman that shifted to stand on the other side of that case, his own gaze entirely steadfast upon those rows of cookies. For several moments, he was silent, merely counting just the number of each given flavor he preferred. Slowly, his gaze shifted upwards and yet, a rather inquisitive look crossed his features as his gaze met hers, his head tilted to the side ever so slightly. A were - that was unexpected.

"I take it your as new to the town as your bakery, hm?" He inquired, though whether or not he truly anticipates a reply still remained to be seen. After all, there were very few weres within that city that neither Frost or himself had not made an effort to recruit. It was only a matter of time before she was gifted with a visit from that other major player of Sacrosanct. In fact, it was that very thought of him that caused his gaze to shift. "Are those carrot cake cupcakes?" He inquired, gesturing towards those orange colored...things in the far corner of the display he knew Frost liked so much. It was only once Tetradore had gained confirmation from the woman that he began to reconsider that order. It would be a nice gesture, he supposed. "I'll take...six of those, a dozen of your snickerdoodle, a dozen of the M&M cookies, six of the sprinkled...things, and all of your chocolate chips." His eyebrows crinkled ever so slightly in consideration...maybe he should get Raven something.... "....and...uh....one of those...fruity tarty cake thingies." After all, she had been experimenting lately with those fruits Tobias so abhorred, something about wanting to expand their diets. See, he paid attention.
