East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

There were many things Raven had seen before, but a fairy was not one of them. As his translucent wings unfolded from his back her head would tilt to the side, curious and in awe. Yet as his wings began to move creating a buzzing and humming noise her eyes shifted to the limp form of her mistress. Black lips pulled back to reveal her pristine sharp teeth as she slowly stalked towards the creature. A threatening snarl erupted from her jaws as she approached the fairy. Black and grey hackles continued to be raised as her head moved side to side her jaws snapping, attempting to catch the fairy without brining harm to the witch. Seeing the witch move slightly in his arms only incited the lupine into attacking him without hesitation. Grey trimmed ears neatly flattened into her ebony crown as she followed the flea towards the back of Serafina's shop, her massive paws and bulky form easily moving the shelves and books that littered the place. If Serafina was not in danger Raven may have been a bit more cautious and careful with her movements, but she assumed Serafina would be happier to still be breathing than see her shop in a filthy mess. As the pesky flea rammed himself into the window with her mistress the unholy beast threw the backdoor open and leapt out into the alleyway. Seeing the fairy slam into the brick wall would have caused the lupine to chuckle if it wasn't for the fact that her charge was still in danger.

As the fairy tried to get his bearings would massive grey paw would swipe in his direction, putting herself between him and the girl. Feeling his weight against her paw she hoped to drive him away before turning around and seeing the girl start to get up. Whimpering softly she would press her massive head into Sera's side, keeping her from standing up all the way. One large pink tongue licked her, ignoring the metallic taste of her silver blood, not bothering to deal with the consequences. Blue-grey eyes narrowed as she glared at the fairy as he slowly picked himself up. One grey paw managed to press down on the witch, forcing her gently to stay on the ground as the wolf managed to step above her, protecting her, as any wolf would do to their cubs. Although her growls rumbled in her chest her voice remained calm as it pressed easily into Serafina's mind.

"Sera...stay underneath me."

With a vicious snarl the lupine would start to feel all around the alleyway for any necessary objects to fling at the fairy, all the while as dark shadows began to slide up and around the witch. The shadow armor providing the witch extra protection as the wolf remained standing above her. Various objects began to fly towards the fairy. From wooden crates, to heavy boxes, and trash. One dumpster managed to be lifted into the sky and hurled directly towards the winged creature with its lid open, almost as if the beast was willing to trap it. It would be wise if he simply count his loss and vanished...without getting hit by the metal bin.

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
