East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

You would think living in a floating vessel with nightly obnoxious fights going on within the were population would be enough to get the meek woman comfortable around loud noises. Living in such an environment did not necessarily help her grow any sort of comfort within the crowded, and extremely loud bar. Being around others in such a small enclosure was not something she rather enjoyed. At least within the Ark there was space and she was among her own kind which helped ease the tension. Parties were not exactly social gatherings she approved of. The last time she was at some sort of social gathering was at a Masquerade and thanks to Frost it did not go rather smoothly. His interaction and rude comment help bring in a snowball effect that caused some of the Weres and a particular arrow-happy Dark Hunter to end the party quickly. She was the cause of the entire problem that night and quite frankly she was not interested in being the problem again at a party.

Which is we find our easily timid werewolf dressed, in what she found humorous, a red riding hood costume, with a slight twist. When Isolt first informed her about this particular party she instantly decline the offer not wanting to take a part in it, and yet, seeing Isolt despairing look made the young woman change her answer. The idea of even coming up with a costume seemed like such a toiling task, but eventually a funny idea popped in her head and she ran with it. Hardly anyone would be aware of her species, and those that did, would perhaps find her costume quite fun...to an extent. Another reason why she particularly liked the idea of the costume was the fact that she could actually have some sort of cloak that would act as a shield for herself allowing her the chance to feel somewhat comfortable. The crimson cloth would become her armor for the night. Moving through the thick crowd quietly she kept herself invisible as she moved between the throng of humans and other supernatural creatures, keeping her head down and allowing the sides of the hood she was wearing to block the side of her mauled face.

Eventually she would find the bar and move over to the darkest corner, preferring to stay away from the others, not knowing anyone and not really wanting to take the chance. She knew she was not much for company and it would be better if she was ignored. Blue-grey eyes moved only as the bartenders moved from one side to the next taking money or plastic cards and exchanging them items for different mix-colored drinks. One female bartender that was wearing some sort of lingerie with large bunny ears approached her and after speaking aloud her poison of choice, she was eventually rewarded with a glass of whiskey, without the need to exchange the drink for money. Perhaps the free drink was done out of pity, or because she was the friend of one of the vampires in charge, either way the reason didn't matter at this time. Clutching her glass she took a small sip allowing the liquid to burn her throat and warm her insides. Placing the glass on the bar top she sat quietly as one thumb rubbed the glass up and down in a rhythmic manner slowly easing her anxiety down by this small and subtle motion. Every now and then her head would lift as her eyes did a quick flash around the room for the familiar auburn vampire, and when she did not see her friend, she would look back at the bartenders doing her best to ignore the rambunctious and large crowd.
