I can see that he doesn't fully understand my explanation of what I am, his eyes narrowing in distrust but he seems to latch onto something because after a minute he seems satisfied. He asks me about someone named Tetra and I shake my head but tell him about a club. He seems unsure about this, running a hand through his hair before shaking his head. He tells me that its in his territory and Tetra doesn't like crowds. I don't know why he had to tell me about his territory, maybe so I'll know to stay out of it? I tilt my head in curiosity. He doesn't seem convinced that Tetra is there though so I let it drop and shrug.

"I don't know then. I wish I could help but I don't even know who that is."

I admit sheepishly. When I shift, he seems ecstatic, grinning as he tells me the plan to play hide and seek. I'm okay with this proposition since I'm so used to playing it in the pack so he turns his back as I scamper off through the maze of alleyways, sure that he'll never find me. I find myself under the dumpster and wait, nose twitching as I try to pick up on his scent. It doesn't take long at all to smell him coming and my eyes widen like saucers as he jumps on top of the dumpster and looks down at me in triumph, obviously proud of himself. He proclaims that he wins and I scowl, obviously unsatisfied with how fast that went but before I can think to voice it, he suddenly looks away and starts walking away from the dumpster. Curious, I poke my head out from underneath it, ears pricked forward, wondering what he sees or smells.

I watch as he walks over to a barrel that's still smoking slightly from a fire, reaching in to grab something and I stiffen instantly, figuring it must be hot. He comes away with a lump of coal and sits crosslegged on the ground. I start wandering closer, my nose up in the air sniffing for tricks as I wonder what he's doing or about to do. My curiosity always seems to get the better of me, and this time is no different because he suddenly grabs me and sets me in his lap, telling me to sit here as he suddenly leans forward and starts drawing on the ground. My ears are flattened from his deliberate deviation from our deal but the growl dies in my throat as he starts drawing, my curiosity once more overriding anything else at the moment. I lean forward in his lap to watch as he starts drawing shapes, unsure of what they are, my head tilting in confusion until he leans back and proclaims them to be his pack.

I look back at them and wrinkle my nose in uncertainty, able to make out colors and markings. I'm guessing cats with the squiggly tails and all. The black one brings Nadya's form to mind, remembering the large black jaguar that saved me in the alley but I don't know who the spotted one or the other one is. Maybe one of them is Tetra? I turn to glance up at him in puzzlement but as I turn, he reaches up to scratch at his face, leaving behind a large black smudge and before I know it, I laugh out loud, the sound more like a series of yips in my shifted form.

"You have...black on your...face."

I inform him. As he reaches down to pet my fur, I stiffen again, my eyes narrowing.

"We made...a...deal."

I remind him in case he forgot. I'm distracted though as he suddenly leans down and draws again, this time a triangle with a big tail. I scowl when he tells me that this is me. I blink up at him a few times but I guess I probably can't do much better so I shrug it off. At his sudden question, I tilt my head.

"Pretty high...I guess...why?"

I raise a brow in suspicion. What does he have up his sleeve?
