Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

in a moment we're lost in passion

dancing with this chemical attraction

That simple promise that Dorian would be there when he woke was the last thing Sebastian truly heard before the luminous face of the sun peaked over the horizon. Her sweltering sphere chased away his precious moon and took with it the vampire's own life, the man's eyes fluttering close as he remained nested against his companion, his own legs entangled in those of his lover's as he held the fae loosely and yet entirely close to him. He was briefly aware of the way Dorian's own head nuzzled against the vampire's shoulder, of their skin against skin and the softness of his bedroom sheets surrounding them. It was nearly entirely perfect, enough so to bring a small simper to Sebastian's features before a soft breath left the vampire lips. It was a breath that was his last before he was lost to oblivion, nothing more than the quickly cooling corpse that his body long since had become. There were no dreams in that obscurity. There was no consciousness there, no subconsciousness. It was as if the world had become but nothing and indeed, the vampire's whole body remained entirely still and breathless as those hours ticked by entirely unnoticed.

It wasn't until nearly thirteen hours later that Sebastian's chest finally rose with breath, as those last trendles of light vanished from the horizon and the sky was naught but darkness and pinpricks of starlight. It was a bit longer still before Sebastian's eyelashes fluttered open navy eyes as he took in the light from a lamp in the corner, followed immediately by the sudden awareness that someone was nearby. It was precarious, those moments right after waking. His instincts were on overdrive, that vampire creature focused entirely upon that thirst as he fought to regain his usually present composure. He was aware of someone in the hallway outside, their steps upon the rug entirely intense for his predatory instincts and yet, more present still was that slow movement of blood within the body next to him and the breath exhaled upon those lips. It was that sound, however, that brought to life the vampire's memories and, in turn, pushed back that hunger if only for those overwhelming affections that so abruptly took hold on him once again.

For a moment, Sebastian was content to merely watch his lover, a small simper dancing upon his lips. Dorian had migrated within his sleep, the man curled up half way across the bed and yet, Sebastian hardly faulted him. It was getting cooler outside with the coming of autumn and his own body, he was assured, was more akin to ice in those hours he slept. However, Sebastian had little intention of letting the King sleep any further, especially when the man had promised some peculiar notion of a game and, the sweet release of his own physic. It was that which cause the vampire to roll over onto his side, stretching out his body for a moment to regain some blood flow to limbs that had been too still for too long. Slowly, Sebastian closed that distance between their forms, his arms embracing Dorian as he pulled the still sleeping man against him in the same fashion he surely had done but hours ago. His own mouth found Dorian's earlobe, his teeth lightly tugging at the flesh there, entirely careful to ensure his fangs did not pierce flesh. Not yet. "Dorian." The word was but a soft breathless whisper before the man's lips dipped down to the fae King's neck. He kissed a small trail down Dorian's nape towards his collarbone and then lower still.

It took some careful rearranging for Sebastian to pull his own body away from his lover enough to gingerly turn Dorian onto his back, the vampire's lips moving lower still towards the man's chest before pausing only upon the fairy's ribcage, exactly under which he innately knew Dorian's heart rested. Sebastian hardly progressed any further, however, even though he knew it would be entirely easy to awaken that want within the man. Instead, the vampire gingerly folded his hands over Dorian's chest, resting his chin upon them ever so gently as his indigo hued irises stared up at his companion, fully intending to only further his antics should Dorian make any efforts to further lose himself to whatever dreams so lingered within the fae King's mind. His own body was nestled on top of Dorian, his stomach resting against Dorian's groin and slowly, with a perhaps mischievous hint to the corners of his upward tilting lips, Sebastian found himself wiggling just ever so slightly, pressing his body further against that all too sensitive area. "Dorian - you promised me a game." He muttered softly, his intrigue fully ablaze now that Sebastian had found some measure of rest.
