Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

From the instant that Edie found herself walking up to the doors of that club, she could tell that this was not one of the clubs that she herself would have frequented. She liked the more upscale clubs, of course, but this was just too much. Rich folks gossiping instead of dancing was not the scene for the party girl. She enjoyed the feeling of bodies against hers and the way music seemed to echo within her rib cage. It was only with that kind of feeling did she feel truly comfortable. The instant they went inside the doors and saw that this was not what this club was about, Edie found herself feeling truly self-conscious. She did not belong here even if she was the arm candy of a rich, attractive vampire for the evening. She was positive that she would only look trashy here, and it was that alone that had the girl looking backwards towards the door. She wanted to leave and bolt and explain to the man that she didn't belong here, and yet it was her promise to do as he said for the evening that had her remaining put despite the eyes on her.

"Um," Edie stammered as he spoke, her eyes following his towards that nearly empty dance floor. The vampire blood coursing through her nearly urged her out onto that floor, and yet she was truly so scared of appearing foolish. It was one thing to be the center of attention when everyone was doing the same thing, but breaking those clear rules of the club were another thing entirely. She remained entirely nervous even though she found herself nodding. "Yes," She let out a soft sigh as she took his head, allowing herself to pull him to the dance floor. She could feel the eyes of those rich women on her and it felt like glass cutting at the confident façade she put on when she was out. She pushed herself closer into Damon as they moved to dance. She would focus on him and the way he looked at her. He was pleased with her, and she wanted to keep her vampire companion feeling exactly that.

"So what makes you so interested in me?" The Were girl asked as she moved her body against his, finding rhythm with the pulsing music. Those people were foolish not to dance. The music was made for it. It called to her and swept her up in its melodies. "I'm nothing special, and yet I seem to have captured all of your attention for this evening. So tell me, Damon. Flatter me." It was a decided challenge for the vampire to so stroke the ego of the Were girl, and truly Edie was interested to see exactly what it was he would say.
