Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

There was a soft chuckle that left the vampire's lips as his lover so effortly caught onto his attempts to be particularly obscure of any aspect of their evening. He could hardly deny the enjoyment he so derived from leaving the King simply wondering of things he could hardly even conceive in the first place, much less his gratification he vampire so took from that look of awe that so often crossed the fae's features. Tonight, however, he was entirely assured that wonderment would not be the emotion to so marr his lover so much as a sort of horrified astonishment. But, then again, Halloween was certainly that sort of holiday as it was - celebrating death and demons and sex. It was perhaps all the vices that so personified the vampire himself, if he truly thought about it for any great length of time. As it was, the man was vastly more distracted by the sudden coldness as Dorian so rose, leaving his grasp. How regrettable it was, even though Sebastian himself had encouraged it. Regardless, the vampire slowly rose, letting his cloak billowed behind him as he led the way up the stairs and into his own particularly vast wardrobe.

It hardly took long to find exactly what he was searching for, the outfit discarded upon the ottoman, the box placed back upon the shelf, and in turn, his own attention was thrust fully upon his lover. There was no denying Sebastian utterly relished every moment spent with the man before him, much less his enjoyment of affording his companion those simple brushes of adoration that ran rampant throughout the vampire's body. It was nearly comical really, that but months ago he'd been striving with such meticulous care to ensure those emotions remained in check, to do his best not to get too attached and now? Now, he could scarcely imagine going even a week without Dorian at his side and within his bed. How things had changed in such a short time! Still, it was that immeasurable love that so rested upon Sebastian's thoughts as he pushed that jacket from the King's shoulders before busying himself with the jeaned material around his waist. Each tender kiss was placed upon the King's thigh with decided care, the vampire remaining altogether still as Dorian so used his own body to steady him as he stepped into those pants.

He was hardly ignorant in any regard of that desire that so afflicted Dorian's form, even if he took painstaking care to avoid those more intimate areas. After all, he had been utterly determined to see the pair manage to make it outside the front door of his home before their clothes were lost to his bedroom floor. Even so, his lips pressed softly against Dorian's stomach as the King so declared that fraying level of control and for a moment, he could hardly deny that simper that so crossed his features as he pressed another kiss higher upwards on the fae's chest. "I believe I have some idea." He uttered in a whispered response. Still, it was in that same slow methodical fashion that Sebastian removed Dorian's shirt, pausing only to tease that sensitive flesh at the base of his neck. That inhale only further prompted that pleased simper and yet, Sebastian provided his companion a moment to catch his breath before he stepped back to grab those last few articles of clothing. With Dorian zippered, the light on his nose lit, and that red collar in place, the vampire paused long enough to eye his work and declare that his lover was indeed ready for the festivities their evening would hold.

He watched in silence as Dorian so regarded his own physic before his gaze followed his companion's towards the full length mirror upon the wall. A small simper settled on his features as the man so astutely inquired as to the exactly what he was. He nodded without hesitation, "You are, Ma Biche. His name is Zero." Despite the years that had passed, and despite his own era, the man had managed to stay somewhat up to date on the trends that so afflicted this century. The movie that very creature came from was certainly one of those things. Still, he watched as Dorian reached up to touch one of the ears that adorned his hood, the vampire quite pleased by the joy Dorian seemed to take from the decided peculiarity of his own costume. After all, their evening would scarce be as thrilling if the King failed to enjoy even this. He waited with patience as his lover so came to his own clear judgement upon the tightly fitting clothing and yet, Dorian's observation of how well the outfit fit him was perhaps one of the first realizations Sebastian had so held. Oh how the vampire's indigo gaze so lingered upon the Italian man in such appreciation of his muscular figure. For all his desires for their evening to go well, there was a subdued part of the vampire that hardly wanted to share this sight with the world outside of his own estate walls.

Nevertheless, he embraced his companion as the man stepped closer towards him. His arms embracing his lover only for his hands to settle with a slight squeeze upon the backside Dorian had so admired but moments before. His lips were all too eager to meet that delicately offered kiss, as fleeting as it so was. His head tilted to the side ever so slightly as the man informed him of utterly bizarre he found the costume, although it was very much the notion of men in tights that momentarily distracted the vampire. Such an idea was utterly unheard of within his own day and the simple imagining of such brought a grin to his features. Still, he nodded ever so slightly in reassurance, "We are - there will be others dressed far more astonishing than us, I assure you. Our outfits are but tame compared to what we wear." At the very least, perhaps some measure of forewarning was required for the inevitable costumes they would see tonight though how one prepared someone for the spectacle that was Halloween and the sheer polar opposites of horror and scandalousness, even Sebastian was not yet certain.

"Come, my love, let us go find you something sweet to eat." There was an entirely teasing and yet undeniably affectionate as he so took Dorian's hand into his own, leading the man from the comfort of his own bedroom back downstairs and towards the darkness beyond the walls of his own home. Night had certainly fallen on the city, in those moments Sebastian had spent significantly enamored with his Italian lover, and by now the streets were near alive with the faces of children, teenagers, and adults alike on their evenings of trick or treating. His upper class neighborhood was entirely known for their generous giving of trick or treat candies - unfortunately, Sebastian hardly go further then several steps down his own walkway before a group of scantily clad girls in their giggling made their way up his sidewalk. Ah - so the night begins!
