Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Every now and then she could see spontaneous flashes of what just occurred moments ago. Earlier that day she was just playing around with Alexis, running all around the field, playing a simple game of tag. Flash forward she could hear herself growling at someone or something. Another snippet came and there was a subtle gentle strumming sound coming from the guitar, the image of the odd looking boy they had saw earlier, but that vision was interrupted by a sight of her paws slamming into the ground chasing something. The memories of what happened earlier continued to jump forward and backward confusing the poor girl. The only thing she knew was that she didn't harm anyone. There was no blood taste in her mouth or some carcass she left behind. Raven was grateful that Tobias hadn't judged her poorly for her misgivings. She was thankful that he wasn't asking her questions as they walked through the woods entering the neighborhood. It was only when she heard the female jogger scream did she stumble out of her train of thought. Startled, eyes would widen as she finally took in her surroundings while he darkly muttered away. The dim streetlights, the winding sidewalks that led to various houses made her realize they were near her neck of the woods. It was when Tobi asked about her house did she turn to face him a puzzled look on her face. Unable to recall if she ever told him that she lived in a house or not she simply shrugged and pointed ahead of them, as they walked.
"It's just a few blocks down...it backs to some trees. It has a white fence and a blue door...you can't miss it."
Raven did not hear a pair of footsteps coming from towards them. Hearing an awfully too happy male voice come from ahead, her lithe frame immediately jolted upwards in shock, as her eyes widen with surprise. The sudden movements of his arms and his awkward close proximity caused the poor girl to shake, an odd scent catching her attention, unsure of what to make of it. As Tobi moved to stand in front of her, keeping himself between her and the odd man, she stepped closer behind him grateful for him becoming a shield. As the abnormal preacher began to speak to them she couldn't help, but peer around Tobi not liking how the male was looking at them. His too cheery smile, that sugar coated friendly tone sounded more like venom with every syllable dropped. Religion wasn't an important thing in her pack and really, she wasn't quite sure the 'good news' he had in mind she could agree with. When Tobi reached for her arm she obediently moved to his side, pressing herself closer against him, shaking slightly, wanting more than anything to leave the creepy preacher behind. Something wasn't right about him and she couldn't pinpoint it. Perhaps it was because she was slowly unwinding from her feral state of mind, which caused her deduction of thought to be a bit slower than usual. As they moved around him she muttered softly, lowering her head not liking how the preacher was eyeing them.

"Tobi...he doesn't smell right."

Though her words must have fallen on deaf ears, because while the preacher grabbed Tobi's arm, she shrunk back as the boy performed an exceptional right hook. Taking a step back as the preacher began to run in her direction, she jumped to the side as Tobi followed in pursuit, hearing his snarls overcome the screams of the male. As the two began to run down the sidewalk, one by one lights from the houses began to flicker on. Before she could shout for Tobi to come back she heard the creaking sound of the window prying open. Turning her upper torso around to see the flood of light partly blind her, her eyes squinted making out the figure of the old woman, as she began to holler out her threat. As the preacher turned around to run in her direction once more, she leapt to the side standing on the old woman's lawn, one arm reaching out to grab Tobi's as he would surely run right past her, all the while shouting at the elder woman.

"I'm s-sorry ma'am, but...he isn't my boyfriend...and"

She could not say another word because true to the old crone's word...the sprinklers turned on. Releasing her hold on Tobi, for she knew he hated water, she would run off the lawn chasing after him as police sirens filled the night sky, blue and red lights could be seen in the distance. It was when the preacher turned around to face Tobi did she something bright in his hand catch her eye, the metal seemed to hit the light perfectly, noticing the familiar shape it made. Panicked she ran faster, one hand outstretched as she grabbed his arm and yanked her towards him. As his lanky form would come to her direction, she would pivot around him, putting herself in front, bright eyes searching for his, if only to grasp his attention. Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell, for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them, shouted the preacher as the sound of a metallic click caught her attention. A loud bang could be heard and a sharp stinging sensation could be felt along her left shoulder. A soft whimper came from the curly-haired woman, as for a brief moment her hands grasped his arms far too tightly. The silver bullet had managed to lodged itself in there and already she could feel her body trying to push the bullet out. Shoving Tobi quickly down the street, in the direction of her home, she nervously cried out as the peril of sirens and flashing lights only seemed to come closer.

"Tobi...we gotta get out of here...he's a Hunter...and others are coming...

I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
