Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

But then one day everything changed

you were the answer to my dreams

His own chest rose and fell with a quickened pace as he so strove to regain his breath, the vampire content to reposition to lay between the King's legs. Sebastian was well aware of that touch of affection as Dorian leaned forward to gingerly run his fingers through his askewed dirty blond locks. A small simper crossed his lips as his bright blue eyes glanced upwards, so informing the man that he was hardly finished with those intimate moments the pair had so shared. He was hardly oblivious to the suggestion that such words surely would have imparted upon Dorian's thoughts, that soft smile growing, in that moment, to a mischevious but entirely knowledgeable grin. Even Sebastian himself would have required a moment's rest to so perform the very actions they had just moments ago completed. This, however, this thought that so teased at his mind, was entirely different, however. His lips brushed softly against his lover's skin, those bright blue eyes so attentive upon his lover as he eyed that glimpse of inquisitiveness that crossed Dorian's features. It was that glimpse alone that so told him of the fae's utterly ignorance to that notion that so presently filled his thoughts and yet, that lack of understanding only further fueled those actions.

His mouth parted, completely ignoring Dorian's efforts to so gain him even the slightest moment to so catch his breath. Instead, those fangs so immediately pierced that flesh, so utilizing even those petite bottom canines to so flood his lover's system with that unique venom that only he could so produce. He was entirely aware of that gasp that so left his lover's lips, so effectively cutting off the man's sentence in it's entirety. Still, there was something altogether satisfying at being so utterly capable of overwhelming his lover with such undeniable pleasure. He was all too aware of those whispered words as those teeth pierced flesh a second time, and too the way Dorian's body so arched against him the third time he so marred the man's flesh. Sebastian remained entirely astute to his lover's each and every reaction, so carefully timing those bites to ensure the assault of sensations remained entirely relentless upon the King's form. The sound of those loud groans only furthered that simper, the vampire entirely uncaring if any of the rest of the household was so capable of hearing those utterly delectable moans he was so capable to coax from Dorian's lips.

He could feel his lover's body beneath him in those final moments, just too as he was eternally amused by those string of curses that left the often impeccably eloquent King. It was only after that release he so caused a second time from his companion that Sebastian allowed his cheek to rest against the unmarred skin of the King's thigh, an innocent look crossing his features as he simply watched the fae so struggle yet again to regain his breath. Gingerly his lips brushed against Dorian's skin in a soft kiss. As much as he adored that pleasure he was capable of overpowering Dorian with, he could hardly help the twinge of guilt that too accompanied it at the man's mutilated leg. He had taken particular care to ensure those bites were shallow everywhere else beyond the spot he'd further fed from, if only with the vain hope that Dorian's skin might heal better than the depth those canines were capable of achieving. He allowed those moments of stillness and silence to exist between them, entirely content to simply nuzzle into the King's skin at a glimpse of his own affections, if that in itself were not entirely obvious at this point alone. Still, he could hardly deny that want for such closeness that existed within him, it was a desire that only Dorian himself was so able of pulling from him in the wake of such intimacy.

It was only Dorian's body stirring several moment's later that caused his head to raise, those bright blue eyes so meeting the silver ones of his lover's. That smile that so radiated across the King's features was enough alone to so bring a grin to his own features though he was short lived, replaced instead by a hint of curiousness. "Never?" He inquired, his head tilting to the side. Certainly it was rare for Sebastian himself to be so capable of finishing twice but it had certainly happened on more than one occasion with the right partner. "Well, I am happy to be the first then." He commented, all the more pleased with each first he so unexpectedly stole from the King. He leaned forward and upwards ever so slightly as Dorian shifted, so meeting the man halfway as his lips brushed against his own dearly beloved soulmate's. Nevertheless, it was after a moment that he allowed the fae King to pull away from him, his gaze only turning with the gesture to where his staff had brought their bags. It was that very mention of his birthday that caused his eyebrows to raise ever so slightly.

He hardly mentioned that fateful date to his lover, at least, not that he remembered. It'd been years since he'd properly celebrated, despite even the best attempts of his staff to at least send him some sort of present on that day. He hardly would have put it past Charlie or even Elizabeth to so coerce Dorian into some sort of attempt to so break his determination to ignore that day as much as he did the one that had come but days before it. Still, he could hardly deny that curiosity that so tugged at him as to what that present so consisted of. "You know this was hardly necessary." He commented and yet, he hardly fought Dorian on the topic, instead raising to fish through the front of the man's luggage before returning to that bed with the small wrapped box. He settled beside his companion, so picking with care at that wrapping paper at that slight gesture of his companion's hand. He pulled open that package, opening that box only to stare blankly at the blue tinged sunglasses that so stared back at him. His eyebrows furrowed as he plucked those sunglasses from the depths of that box.

He slowly opened those sunglasses, eying them inquisitively. He was aware, vaguely, of that warmth that slowly invaded him though he thought it little more than an effect of that blood he'd so shamelessly taken rather than some effect brought on by Dorian himself. In fact, Sebastian was wholly oblivious of that life that was so afforded to him in those moments, his gaze instead slowly turning to his lover in an entirely questioning gesture. "For....morning?" He repeated, his lips pressing together in a small frown. He was fairly certain the King was aware that daylight was perhaps, harmful to him though those simple words had the vampire wondering quite if Dorian was aware to such effect. The heat would slowly start causing his skin to warm, truly, but soon enough that warmth would turn to smoke and that smoke to fire and so healing from such wounds was a lengthy, time consuming and painful process, one he hardly wished to go through on what he was assured was the longest time he would have his lover to himself to date. Still, it was the brush of Dorian's fingers against his hand that cause his gaze to rise from those sunglasses.

Of course the vampire had hardly forgotten that gift of life that Dorian had slowly begun to master, his gardens back in the metropolis they'd just left certainly evident of that. And yet, he was also reminded of how that glow had so failed to touch his own skin, a simple fact that he was entirely assured would never change. Even the flowers Dorian had resurrected had some measure of life within them still - his own body had been dead for just over two hundred years now. "Thank you..." He muttered softly in response to that sentiment of Happy Birthday that Dorian so provided him with and yet, even he could hardly fathom exactly what the King had in mind. His head shook from side to side for a moment before those now shockingly crystalline irises glanced back at his lover. "I'm afraid I don't understand, Ma Biche, what exactly are you intending to do at dawn?" His own survival, it would seem, was one area on which Sebastian found himself wholly hesitant to so blindly trust even Dorian himself, entirely certain to ensure the King knew exactly why that sunlight was so forbidden to his kind if it was so necessary to inform him.
