Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Amelia genuinely felt awful for the way she had treated Troy. Unfortunately, her memories had gotten the best of her and she had acted poorly. She had put a halt to a rather good evening that was on the path of turning out much better for them both. Unfortunately, they both left in an agitated state: Amelia from her PTSD and Troy because the poor man had been teased all night and then left with nothing to ease that tension. Amelia had genuinely felt bad for leaving Troy like that, so at least bringing him some dinner was something simple that she could do for him.

She waited outside his hotel room, hoping that she had the right room. When the door finally opened to reveal Troy there with his smirk, she smiled. She handed him the bag of food before she stepped inside. "I was worried you might not want to see me...so I brought a gift." She chuckled lightly as she stepped inside. Eyes looked around the room at it's bare offerings. It looked much like a cheap motel room that had never seen the touch of a woman since the day it was built. The furniture was old and not at all in style, but Amelia said nothing as she turned to look at Troy as he closed the door behind her.

His words caused her to laugh, something she hadn't done since the night before. It felt good to laugh. She moved to sit on the edge of the bed, eyes taking one last look around the room. "I can stay in something other than a five-star hotel. It might be surprising to know that I can be pretty flexible." She smiled as she kicked off her heels. These darn heels made her feet hurt. She couldn't fathom why women liked wearing theses so much.

Unlike the night before, she wore a pair of designer jeans with a low-cut top. She dressed comfortably. Pulling her legs up to sit Indian style on the bed, she looked back up at him. "I'm not sure what kind of hamburger you like...so I just asked for the most popular." She had to admit she didn't know much about what Troy liked or didn't like. She supposed in the grand scheme of things, it really didn't matter. It was the thought that counted, right?
