Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Vhalla stayed at Sam's home nearly as often as she did at her own apartment. The last few weeks she had taken to moping around the house avoiding Dorian and refusing to tell Sam what had happened in her life. Heaving a sigh, she flicks through the channels for the 9th time, not bothering to watch what was on the screen, she merely wanted something to do with her hands. The assassin was surprised no one had come to scold her with the volume cranked up to almost its max; she needed to fill the silence. Grumbling to herself, she angrily shuts off the television as silence enfolds across the living area pressing in on her. Unfolding herself from the couch she wanders into the kitchen, rummaging through the cupboards but doesn't take anything, instead she leaves all the doors open in her wake.

She was like a tornado wherever she went or maybe a predator who had been cooped up too long and she simply needed to leave chaos behind.

She knew Dorian was here, at least she thought he was, yet the witch had no idea where Sam was. The faerie queen had taken to wandering off by herself and not telling Vhal what she was up to, she supposed the woman didn't have to but the assassin would have liked to know. She had even thought about trailing the faerie but knew if she got caught, Sam would give her the scolding of her life. Furrowing her brows, she makes her way to the stairs as sunlight filters through the windows catching the witch's pale complexion. Pausing, she lets the sun soak into her skin, it was an unnaturally warm day and part of her drew her outside to enjoy the weak sun. Pushing the thought away, she drags herself up the spiral staircase and down the hall, stopping in front of Dorian's door.

She had toyed with Dorian's offer to teach her control for weeks. She wasn't brave enough to talk to him, she didn't even have the courage to look him in the eye when passing. Breathing heavily through her nose, she runs a hand aggressively through her hair, her fingers catching on the snags. Honestly, the assassin was anything but her usual perfect self, she looked a mess. Her hair falling in waves over her shoulder, un-brushed, and her clothing rumpled and bare feet nestled on the cold floor. Yanking her fingers from her knotted hair she folds her arms across her chest, glowering at the door inches from her face. She knew she should knock or better yet she should just walk away, it's not like the faerie man knew she was standing here.

Turning on a heel she marches down the hall before stopping at the staircase again releasing an angry breath, "For god's sake," she mutters to herself before turning back around stomping rather loudly towards Dorian's room, if he didn't know she was there before he did now. Latching onto the handle, she wrenches the door open standing rather imposing in the doorway, "Rise and shine, cupcake! I hope you're dressed, I'm coming in," she announces herself before waltzing in the room, leaving the door open. She doesn't move very far in, just past the threshold. The assassin hadn't been in his room since he offered to teach her, now she was here again; except now she had to ask. The witch didn't ask for things, especially anything regarding the bettering of herself, she tended to demand for things. Now she had to swallow her pride.

Plastering a wide grin on her face, she folds her arms again across her chest, an almost maniac glee dancing in her irises after days of moping as she waits for Dorian.
