Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

While Henry may not be outright with what was on his mind, he knew he would need to talk to someone about it. While he wasn't sure how to bring up the subject, he knew he would need to come clean eventually. He couldn't just live his life running around scared. While most might think it rather pitiful that he could not open up to others, he knew it was just a defense mechanism. He wasn't very good at voicing his problems. He kept things bottled up until they exploded. After all, that's what had gotten him into this mess after all.

But before he could talk himself into saying anything about what had happened in the last couple of weeks, she had changed the subject onto the new clothes she had bought. He rather liked her new outfit. It definitely hugged her curves in all the right ways and it certainly made his desire stir. Despite being in a monogamous relationship, he was feeling like he wanted to fuck Malia. Perhaps it was more a reaction to help ebb his pain than anything else. He felt so helpless not even knowing if Sterling was alive. Malia was here and beautiful...she seemed like a logical distraction for him.

He offered a sly smile at her scowl. Sometimes, he forgot just how clueless she was about human phrases. He shook his head lightly at her. "It means that those clothes make you look very attractive." If she could hear the thoughts in her head, they would surely make her blush right about now. He couldn't help it.

When she asked him if he wanted to go do something, he told her that he wanted a stiff drink. He knew she didn't much like the taste of beer, but he wasn't sure if in the last couple of weeks she had experimented with anything else. "They have other things than beer...I'll pick you out something that you might like." She would hopefully enjoy having drinks with him much like he enjoyed having drinks with other company. When she asked if he knew of some good places, he nodded his head lightly. "There's a little bar around the corner, it's my favorite place."

He starting walking, hoping she would fall into step with him. It did not take long before he opened the door for her, allowing her to step into the bar before him. Once inside, he let the door close behind him as he led her towards a booth. "Have a seat. I'll get you something." He went towards the bartender and opened a tab. He ordered himself a bottle of whiskey, knowing he would probably drink the whole damn thing. He also ordered her a Long Island iced tea. It was a rather fruity tasting drink that almost tasted as if there was no alcohol in it...despite that being practically the whole drink.

Once the drinks were in hand, he went back to the booth, sliding in across from her. He handed her the tea before he grabbed his glass and poured himself his first glass of whiskey. He practically drank the glass like he would a shot. He felt the alcohol burn his throat and it was surprisingly soothing.
