Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

SterLing claimed that everything was fine and Henry wasn't sure he believed the man. Nothing about Sterling looked fine. He had lost weight, it seemed...almost like he hadn't eaten anything in days. The apartment was dark and musty, not filled with the smells of Sterling's award-winning cooking. Not to mention, Henry was quite certain that Sterling hadn't taken a bath in what seemed like forever. The one thing he really disliked about his new heightened sense of smell was that he could smell everything..the good, the bad, and the rank. However, he didn't mention anything. He didn't want to overstay his welcome by offering unnecessary advice.

Unsure of his place in Sterling's life, he stepped back, apologizing for what had happened. He knew an apology would not fix everything, but at least it was a start. Sterling, true to himself, took the blame on himself...claiming that he should have known it would happen and looked out for the signs.

Henry's heart ached knowing that Sterling blamed himself for what had happened on that boat. Slowly, he stepped forward and brought his hand to cup his lover's cheek. "Don't blame yourself. This isn't your fault." He wanted to be reassuring, to take all the blame. He should have listened when Sterling warned him that he was a were. "I should have believed you when you said I turned into a cat..." If he had listened the first time, he would have avoided all of this mess.

Looking last Sterling into the dark apartment, he scanned the place. Slowly, he looked back to Sterling. "Can I make you something to eat? You look thin." While he never made a point to say anything about another person's weight, He was trying to show Sterling that he cared very much for his well-being.
