Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sebastian Ellington

Cause i've been dancing with shadows
waiting till the morning after

Sebastian could hardly help that laughter that bubbled upon his lips at that rather vague story he was rewarded with of two of his lover's first attempts with the fairer gender. Seduction was certainly an art, of that the Englishman could not deny and though his first efforts to woo the young lady that had caught his one brightly lit eyes had been certainly....poor, he had at least managed to last far longer than the mere two minutes the fae King admitted to. That near sheeping glimpse upon the Monarch's features surely only made that amusement worsen, the vampire entirely unable to keep those chuckles to himself. "I'm sorry, Ma Biche, but if it is any consolation you've certainly improved impressively since then." After all, Sebastian quite frequently enjoyed those 'beddings' with his lover. Their sex life was a decidedly active one, though truly, for Dorian, Sebastian's desires were near insatiable when it came to such intimate activities. Perhaps it was far better Maxwell took after Dorian in such a department then himself. That simper was still present upon his features at such thoughts as Dorian's fingers entangled within his own, the vampire entirely content to fall into step at his fiance's side as the fae led the way up those stairs and into the bedroom.

That towel was effortlessly deposited upon that bed, that genteel kiss upon his cheek was unanticipated and yet, wholly enjoyed. It was far too tempting to simply fall back into that bed with his lover, particularly when the man was already half undressed as it was. It was that suggestion of staying elsewhere, however, that halted the vampire from engaging in any such activities. That idle comment that their evening sounded enjoyable seemed to draw his lover's gaze and yet, truly, Sebastian hardly anticipated for that conversation to change so abruptly to the wardrobe he was only moments from stepping with in. A look of temporary bafflement crossed his features as his gaze turned towards that walk in closet, the vampire entirely uncertain why one should want such a lighting feature in the first place. He was entirely content to test out this change of hue in those lightbulbs himself as he stepped in and out of that closet, watching the color change from dark red to orange to a bright yellow and onward through that sequential set of colors. How.....odd. It was finally that hue of blue he seemed content to settle on and yet, even this 'feature' of sorts bothered him when all their clothes were too tinted that same color. Truly, it was a miracle Matteo ever managed to look so put together when he couldn't even see the true color of his clothing! Eventually, the vampire settled upon an outfit of sorts, depositing those swimming trunks for a pair of jeans and an unbuttoned polo.

It was only once he was fully clothed that the vampire stepped from that wardrobe, inquiring exactly as to why such a thing had been added in the first place. That suggestion that Matteo's staff might enjoy that music brought a snort to his nose. From those glimpses he had of the few staff on the premises, they seemed far more...stuffy, to say the least. It was, however, that suggestion of rolls however, that prompted that grin back upon his features, his head shaking ever so slightly as the vampire slowly approached his lover. "Not quite those kind of rolls, love." That vampire responded, his hands falling upon Dorian's waist. "Rocking and rolling has more to do with the movement of....bedding than anything else." Sebastian spoke, those more discreet words chosen for that which he was often willing to be crude with. He leaned closer towards the Monarch, continuing all the same in that low whisper. "It was a song about a city built on dancing, music, and sex." The vampire's lips brushed against Dorian's own, that kiss entirely meant to be wholly teasing and fleeting then provide any sort of satisfaction. That touch of affection vanished as quickly as it came, the vampire stepping away from the fae to fold his towel properly as he continued on idly of how utterly perplexing he thought Matteo to be, particularly to enjoy a singing pantry and a color tinted view of their own clothes. It seemed preposterous, except, perhaps, that initial amusement of terrifying some new soul - though he was certain that Elizabeth and Charles would murder him for installing such a feature in their pantry without informing them. Perhaps such had been Matteo's intention as well. His head shook ever so slightly at his own consideration, chasing away those thoughts to instead return his focus upon his lover. "Mmhm." He responded to that question.

Sebastian followed his lover out into that hallway, pausing only at the sudden presence of that manservant. That bow they were met with saw his gaze but briefly shift towards his lover, as if to silently comment on this man enjoying that music. Even so, Sebastian politely offered his own word of thanks at those instructions, the vampire moving at Dorian's side down those aforementioned stairs and towards that main hallway. He supposed, truly, he shouldn't be surprised to find that hallway had far more doors on the right then any singular one, after all, Dorian's own palace had been a veritable labyrinth to him the majority of the time. His eyebrow furrowed ever so slightly at that puzzle of sorts that the pair were presented with, the vampire merely nodding ever so slightly, "I guess we start at one end and work our way down." He commented with a shrug of sorts, easily moving towards the second door only to find a rather dull looking office hidden behind it. He closed this one, moving past the one Dorian stood before and onto the next one, the pair clearly intending to move through those doors till they found something that led outside. Truly, it should not have been such a difficult task as this. One would think they would make such doors obvious. His hand only just rested upon that knob when Dorian's voice pulled his attention away from that door. "Hm?" He inquired, glancing over towards his lover only to trail after the King as he stepped into that far more....personable room.

This, he was sure, was far greater of a glimpse into Matteo's life then either had ever been afforded before. The vampire followed his lover towards that shelf, his own blue eyes glancing over those photographs within those frames, entirely inquisitive of those people within those portraits. He could quite easily pick out the Dark Hunter within those portraits, now that he had met the man. It was one thing to know the fae's age and quite another to actually see proof of his existence throughout all those years. Sebastian lingered at his lover's side, never letting the man stray terribly far from him, his gaze shifted towards that photo that had quite clearly caught Dorian's attention. It was odd to see the two men together, nearly happy with those horses behind them. His head shook ever so slightly at Dorian's comment. "I suppose far more then we will ever know..." Sebastian was willing to admit that his interest in the wars of the world had interested him particularly little, except, perhaps, to provide him information of what countries not to go to. His gaze easily danced towards another in that row, at least, until he realized the fae King's sudden distraction.

The vampire slowly trailed after his lover, the man acutely aware that this portrait was somehow different from the rest, even if he had little notion as to how or why. He watched the way the King seemed to reach for that golden frame, that shift within Dorian's voice prompted his own gaze to soften ever so slightly. A warm simper brushed across his features as he stepped closer towards the Monarch, his arms encircling his lover as he placed his chin against Dorian's shoulder in the fashion he tended to do. His gaze brushed over the couple within that photo, taking in that view of clear affection between the pair. "Your parents look like they loved each other very much." He commented softly, his lips softly brushing against the King's neck. "Not as much as I love you though." The Englishman's breath was warm against his fiance's neck, even as he teased his lover all the same. It was silly, really, the way he made every effort to ensure Dorian was able to develop his relationship with his father. It was clear the his lover's childhood was hardly nearly as loving as his own, Sebastian entirely determined to beset the King with enough love to offset all that he had been denied. "You should take a picture of this one, hm?" He suggested softly, "We can get a print made of it, if you want."
