Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

She tilted her head in obvious confusion when Nadya said nothing in that pack was simple. Guess there were feelings and stuff to take into account when you got into Were packs. That took all the fun out of it if you asked Malia. Pack heirarchy was final, no matter what. her eyes widened in surprise when Nadya explained that the Ark had a fighting ring for Were's. What?! How didn't she know about this? Her muscles tremored at the thought of giving someone a good beating and maybe getting paid for it. Maybe she could do that instead of getting an actual job! At least it's something she would enjoy doing. But she was getting off subject. She nodded in understanding as Nadya said it wasn't kid friendly, then admitted that she had a burlesque. Malia scowled. "Burlesque?" She had no idea what that was but she guessed it wasn't considered kid friendly either. Then Nadya said that she'd sold it and she was starting up a dance studio for kids. Malia didn't know what dancing would do for kids but whatever made Nadya happy. She smiled. "Good for you." Nadya seemed happy about her decision so Malia could be happy for her, even if she didn't understand why someone wouldn't want to be close to a fighting ring. How exciting!

Nadya told her that taking the pill and using condoms, the cover things, would be recommended. Malia scowled. "How do I get those? The covers and the pills?" Nadya assured her that she should be cautious, especialy with humans or same species. She smirked. "I don't know of any other WereCoyotes in town. You? Guess I just have humans to worry about." Her face softened when Nadya admitted that her life would be easier without kids. She could tell that wasn't easy for her to say. Once they were in the kitchen, Nadya was more open to discussing Tetradore himself too, which made Malia's eyes blaze with more curiosity. Her eyes widened again at the thought of Tetradore and Frost actually fighting. How did Frost survive? She thought no way that a horse could beat a panther, but then that was counting out their powers. She wasn't even sure what all Frost could do or Tetradore for that matter. Her eyes softened when Nadya said that Tetradore had disappeared and it looked like he was dead. Wow, she wondered what happened. That must have been awful for everyone involved. She couldn't imagine. She swallowed and looked down at her sandwich. "Wow...I don't know what to say to that. I didn't know they'd fought. I could just tell Tetradore didn't like him."

She recalled how he'd actually pouted when he found out she'd joined Frost's pack and then how he'd asked to rub against her so Frost would smell him on her. It was funny at the time but now...she didn't know what to think. She cared about Tetradore and she had pledged her loyalty to Frost. She didn't want to hurt either of them. So far everything was going pretty smoothly but would it always? She had to wonder how long before they exploded against each other again. Would she be caught in the middle? Would she have to choose? She swallowed at the idea. Nadya took a seat across from her and Nadya finished off her sandwich, already eying the chips Nadya had out but she didn't want to be rude and take more. Nadya probably needed food too. Nadya told her about Henry and Tetradore. Malia knew that he'd bit Henry. They had talked about that in the woods when they found her crying. She said that sleeping with both of them would be frowned upon. Malia scowled. "Nothing will happen between Henry and I anymore. He's my friend. I don't even think anyone will happen with Tetradore. It was probably just the alcohol putting thoughts in my head."

She stared at the counter top, anything but at Nadya, trying to convince herself that's all it was. It wasn't working so far. She only looked back up when Nadya said that Tetradore had a troubled childhood and that he wasn't capable of having a relationship. Malia smirked bitterly. "I don't even know if I'm capable. I mean, I'm still so new to the human world. I'm not sure I want to be tied down. Relationships are for life, right? I see humans sleeping with strangers, so maybe a relationship isn't necessary, right? Friends can have sex." She shrugged, tracing her finger along the counter top. She didn't know what to think of all the information she was getting. She did want to know about him, but the more she found out, the more she realized she didn't know and she didn't like it. She knew Nadya wasn't just trying to trash talk him. She was speaking from her own experiences with him. Maybe there was another side but she wouldn't know until she talked to him. She felt bad that Nadya had gone through that, being kicked out of the pack and not feeling accepted with her own family. It was wrong. She needed answers. She needed to find Tetradore...soon.

She glanced up with a soft smile. "You're pack and more than that, I count you as a friend. I've got your back." She wanted Nadya to know that she meant it. If Nadya ever needed help she would be there. Then Nadya brought up something Malia hadn't even thought of. Her brows furrowed. Knowingly associate with? She made it sound like he was just using her. But he had known her before she had even joined a pack. He didn't even tell her that he was an alpha, that he had a pack. She just figured he didn't want to give up their friendship just because she joined another pack. She just had to think that. Nadya explained that hre refused a truce with her and that was why she was concerned. It made sense, but Malia couldn't wrap her head around it. She couldn't believe Tetradore would do that, not to her. She bit her lip. "I get it. Don't worry. I'm going to figure this out. I'm going to get answers." She nodded, more to herself than anything, a way of telling herself that yes, she had to do this. She had to find Tetradore and make him talk, one way or another. Remembering what Nadya kept saying, she offered her another more reassuring smile. "I'll be careful, promise."
