Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

fading into oblivion

kissing death and loosing my breath
Often times, in idle day dreams, Serafina had wondered about the mysterious blond hunter. She questioned why he had hesitated to slaughter her the first time they had met, though she was grateful of it just as she wondered why he seemed so determined to be despised by her very existence. He was a curious creature and even now, beneath the weight of her stormy gaze, Serafina still found herself wondering. It would seem, however, that the young female was going to be left with her idle thoughts, his short reply a rather clear showing that it was a line of conversation that he was certainly not interested in pursuing. Her head shook ever so slightly but she did not question him on it further. No matter how much he baffled her, Serafina was simply not the type of girl to make demands of others. She accepted them for who they were, what they were even if it that something wanted absolutely nothing to do of her. Effortlessly, she turned her attention towards the cookies in the same fashion he did, allowing her newest creation to absorb all of her attention. Her gaze stayed steadfast upon him as hesitantly reached out to take the cookie from her hands. It was obvious that even now he hardly trusted her, even though he had never truly been subjected to what her abilities did entail - voodoo doll aside.

The young girl couldn't help but to roll her eyes at his continued hesitance though even that moment was short lived before he made yet another demand of her - sending the youthful girl scurrying about her kitchen to gather a plate and glass. She was momentarily oblivious of his gaze trailing down the length of her physic as she leaned on her tiptoes, fetching a glass higher up in her cabinet before stooping down to fetch the jug of milk on the lower shelf of her refrigerator. Humility, as far as it came to dress, was a trait that Serafina simply didn't have. She was comfortable with her feminine figure, enough so that she didn't often question weather or not the clothing she wore was flattering. She liked them and it was all that mattered and yet, at the exact same time, the young woman hadn't been around men quite enough to be entirely aware of the desires she was wholly capable of drawing out within them. Her stormy eyes settled upon him as she placed the milk and cookies at his designated spot on the table, her head tilting to the side ever so slightly as if to ask if this was somehow satisfactory to him.

Her grey tinged gaze watched as he picked up the cookie, her hands folding upon the back of the chair she stood behind. His warning however, was met with a sigh of exasperation. "Really Azzy, the more you warn me against it, the more oft I am inclined to do just that. You could be like Salem - a talking cat or maybe the frog prince." It was a mild threat as she leaned forward against the chair, her elbow resting upon the back of it whilst her chin leaned on her palm. Despite her childish antics, the woman fell back into silence as he bit down on her Christmas tree shaped cookie, noting the momentary look that crossed his handsome features. Serafina couldn't help the simper that danced across her sweet heart lips at his compliment, her gaze following his hand as he reached down to pick up another one. She was still standing there just as silently as he nibbled on the fifth cookie she had placed him his plate, seeming only then to notice her presence once again.

She listened with particular care as the blond Dark Hunter finally saw fit to answer her idle inquiry. Her gaze traced the rim of his glass, watching the light that circled around and around. She had no answer for him if only because Serafina knew very well that he was right. She was a witch and he was a hunter. There was nothing that could be done to change that. There was no denying who they were, what they were. Finally, after a moment of hesitance, a soft soprano voice left her lips, "But....I don't want you to leave." She pushed herself up, standing entirely upright as her eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly. Her gaze firmly met his golden colored orbs, as if by eye contact alone she could convey the feelings that even she herself did not fully understand. What she didn't expect, however, was for him to so quickly move onto the next idle fantasy. She was unsure of a response for a moment, before nodding ever so slightly, turning upon her heels to lead him out of the kitchen and back towards the living room. "Be careful of the coat rack. It might try to hug you." She warned with some idle attempt at a jest - all the while inquisitive of what he had in mind.
