Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Sterling reached for the plates Henry brought over, altogether dutiful in his task to arrange their dinner creations in a fashion wholly appealing upon those now bare plates. He glanced briefly up towards Henry as he suggested, possibly, lowering those lights just a touch. It was, after all, meant to bring about that very air of romance. The warlock was, all the while, trusting within his boyfriend to find that perfect level of light to keep his own still present fears of darkness at bay. In mere moments the brightness of the bulbs diminished to an almost soft glow, only for several additional orbs of light to emerge into existence. A small simper crossed Sterling's features as he glanced up from his task to witness the almost dreamy state his apartment had been plunged into. How long had it been since they had a night like this? Since they had tried like this? It was only once his plating was finished that Henry reached forward to grab them, moving them towards the now set dining room table. Sterling followed suit, hardly expecting for Henry to pull out his seat for him.

His eyebrow rose as he watched the man with a fleeting glimpse of amused inquisitiveness. Maybe it was best not to question this sudden change within Henry. Maybe he should just be happy about it. "Thank you." Sterling offered as he settled within his chair, only to slide the seat forward before his boyfriend took up his own spot across from him. He glanced up as Henry lifted the glass bottle from the table surface, clearly holding it out for a toast. It was fitting, he supposed, to celebrate an anniversary of sorts. Gingerly, Sterling let his own beer clink against Henry's own. "To us." He repeated with a warm simper before his attention turned towards the lamb that so eagerly awaited them. He picked up his own silverware, cutting into the piece of meat as he checked it's doneness, satisfied with the colors he saw.

It was only Henry's inquiry that brought his gaze upwards before Sterling merely shrugged in response. "It's okay I guess...it's just baking...kind of boring." The boy admitted, that newest job hardly failing to ignite the same passion in him as the restaurant he had worked in before that. Even so, at the time, a slow-paced bakery had been what he had needed. That sudden groan upon Henry's lips prompted a warm grin upon Sterling's features, how he adored that sound! "Thank you for buying them." The boy retorted, placing his own first bite of lamb within his mouth. God, he'd forgotten how good those luxury cuts of meat were!
