Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The girl seemed wholly taken with her baking, the violet eyes of the man peering beneath his long forelock to merely watch her work, the naked girl rushing back and forth about his kitchen in a manner almost...sensual and yet the innocence he knows lingers behind such a gesture assures any such feelings remain muted, at least for now. Even so the shape and tone of her rather lovely body hardly go unnoticed, the woman in possession of rather a pleasing feminine form and yet for now the man politely averts his gaze as she bustles about- seeming only to notice him within the last moment as he speaks, her train of thought evidently interrupted as she seems momentarily flustered before finally seeming to discover the egg timer, more vanilla added to her dish as she simply returns to baking with flourish once more, his earlier observation in regards to her talents and preferences evidently correct as he continues to watch her silently.

He waits only so long as it takes her to turn briefly away and reach for another ingredient of sorts, one hand reaching forward to swiftly snatch the bowl from the countertop, dragging the icing bowl towards himself suddenly, brushing a finger through it before bringing it to his lips. Sugar is a particular weakness of his species, the cubed kind a favoured treat of the man and yet the icing is hardly sub-par, the sweetness a welcome taste upon his tongue before the bowl was quickly pushed back into the place it had been- as if the man truly hopes the woman has failed to notice his unsolicited taste test- the young man the picture of apathetic innocence once more as the vixen turns to grasp the bowl and continue mixing. Her tone as she speaks brings a passing grin to the equines lips, little more then a quirk of his lip before her own question seemed to catch him off guard, one eye lifting in contemplation.

"I neither like nor dislike these conversations- they are merely necessary. Although I will say, Claire, that if you wish to be naked within this home, at any time, feel free to do so- I will not forbid you from doing it and if you are comfortable then so be it. I grew up in a place where we did just that, I learned about clothing only when I left it- so I understand. In the company of others though and outside- clothes may be best. At home- you may do anything you like."

If she was content to wander about in that manner, then so be it, he had educated her, offered her a choice- the rest was her own doing and yet he merely seeks to assure her that if she chooses to be naked at home then that was a choice all her own and her would hardly prevent it if it pleased her so. Besides- the view was not...unfortunate. The click of the kettle sees his attention drawn away from the fox and cake, reaching for the nearest coffee mug before proceeding to make his morning coffee, reaching for a second mug- half inclined to make one for Claire before pausing.

"Claire- have you tasted coffee before?"

He is hardly foolish enough to allow the woman a mug of caffeine least she has had such a drink before, Claire hardly needing more energy then what she already possesses, eyeing the woman carefully now before deciding whether or not he would permit her to drink coffee, her gesturing with the spoon seeing the frown upon his features shift once more into a soft thrum of an amused chuckle as she speaks of nerve endings and humans.

"Humans are a vapid species Claire, you are better than them, above them- do not forget that. As for what they do for fun I can hardly say. I have never been human. In regard to your nerve endings, I do understand- as I said, in the land I was born clothing was uncommon and learning to wear it was difficult for myself as well. It is necessary only outside or in company however, otherwise I hardly care if you choose to wear nothing."

His shoulders merely roll in a shrug, the sound of the egg timer seeing the violet of his gaze shift towards the oven as the girl bends to remove the.....thing she has been cooking. In all his years and all his travels he has never before seen a....quiche the man eyeing it warily a moment from his position at the bench- taking another sip of his coffee.

"What is this quiche made of?"

It is perhaps the first time he has been given to ask a question of her, the snowy haired boy continuing to eye the quiche before Claire announced her lack of plans.

"Good. As soon as breakfast is over I will meet you in the back yard- I have an idea for helping you learn about your power and in turn you can help me learn about my newest acquisition. How does that sound?"
