Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

OMBRE QUEEN
Perhaps he doesn't fully understand the power of an Alpha, it is to command and lead but also to provide safety and comfort when needed. This is what she felt now; safety, contentment enough to fully let her guard down and relax her body against his. She thinks she likes this feeling, this unyielding warmth against hers. It is considerably different than what she is used to, it feels different, something charged in the air. It is a similar feeling for when her power runs through her.

Electric and all consuming. It raises the flesh along her body and she can't help but wonder why she didn't feel it in the air when their hands were twisted in front of her. It's a wonder that their hair wasnt standing on end from these feelings. She isn't used to this, isn't used to such close contact with anyone who isn't her family and perhaps this is just the next step for her. Trusting enough to be able to do this, to let her guard down and place her faith in another. She'd done that today, she'd placed her faith and well-being in his hands and what he did with it now was his choice.

These feelings confuse her, the way her power rises and the joyful way her heart thumped against her ribcage, it is as if she shouldn't feel these things. That her joy was unwarranted and that her power was more harm than good, that she shouldn't be able to even touch these. That she was cursed and a danger to those around her. This is what she had been lead to believe, that she was way too dangerous and a liability to those around her and that was why she had to be kept safe, protected.

Her fingers are splayed against his back, looping around his hips in a hug that pressed her body close to his. Her tears are short lived, her crying ceasing and her shoulders stop their shaking. Her head tilted back as she gazed up at him, overwhelmed by such emotions but too captivated by his gaze. She is comforted when his arms encircle her, his warmth something to hold onto and tangible and she likes this. They lied to you-- She is shaking her head, her brow furrowing completely forgetting to drop her gaze like she wanted to. "Why would they lie to me?"

It didn't make sense, but it did at the same time, wouldn't they try and keep her in her own form of a prison? Enough to where she wouldn't ask questions and kept her happy so that she doesn't want for more. His fingers against her chin tilting it up is enough for her to search his gaze, "This is how it should feel? Exciting--electrifying--" Her words are whispered, soft as if afraid to break the magic in the air.
