Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The Sun Also Rises

Dorian could so hardly help the fashion in which he shifted near automatically into his husbands figure at the sound of those running feet. That gesture near habitual. Sebastian, after all, had very near come to represent safety for the Fae King, even if Dorian was, in most cases, more than capable of defending himself. That hand that settled upon his waist was wholly reassuring and yet Amelia was quick to scoop that running child upward and into her arms. How very much that girl had grown since they had last seen her at their own wedding! Dorian eyeing the child with a distinct look of awe. One, it seemed, Sebastian was inclined to share. The normal socially apt vampire so uttering his outward disbelief in what existed before their very eyes. That young child reached eagerly for her father then, Amelia handing the girl to Troy whom easily swept Tenley up and into his arms. Dorian content to continue to eye the young girl with that clear mix of curiosity and bafflement. How was it that a vampire could....grow? She was most assuredly a vampire, after all, Dorian wholly capable of seeing that utter lack of light around her figure that so surrounded himself and Troy in turn. Life, within Fae, tended to be nothing short of gloriously bright. That immortality affording it a sheen of sorts and yet- Tenley's form remained untouched in the same fashion as Sebastian and Amelia. Vampires, after all, were dead. That very concept so flying in the face of the child's ability to age. Would she be a true immortal? Or would that mix of Fae and Vampire blood render her somehow...mortal?. How many questions he had!

Still, the matter of formalities remained. Dorian extending his hand to the child before realising that, perhaps, she might yet be to young for such things as those formal greetings. The Monarch near quick to offer his apology as the girl looked shyly away. Troy assuring the girl took new toys as collateral, Dorian allowing that chuckle to rise within his throat. How doting a father Troy seemed.. Amelia insisted she did not take the child out much, a notion Dorian found distinctly understandable given her oddity. The girl evidently rather shy. Amelia's attention turned toward Sebastian then. The woman, it seemed, holding just as many questions as Sebastian and himself in turn. Her growth as baffling as the notion that Amelia, had, somehow- fallen pregnant at all. How curious a place the world was. How many things they still did not know. Dorian lifted that wine to his lips then, the Monarch momentarily savouring the taste as amelia attempted to assure them that, with Troy around, Tenley's hunger for that Fae blood was well controlled. Dorian offering that ready nod and yet that.....doubt still existed all the same. Small and nagging though it was. The Monarch, at least not yet, not fully convinced of the control of a child vampire. Anna-Marie, perhaps, having somewhat damaged his confidence in juvenile vampires. Even if Tenley so hardly appeared to be of the same deposition.

Sebastian moved forward to greet that child then. Dorian unable to prevent that simper that found his lips at Sebastian's interaction with the girl. The pair had hardly discussed children of their own in any real depth and yet he remained near assured that, when and if the time ever came, Sebastian would make quite an excellent parent. The young vampires sudden insistence that she had a 'special seat' prompted that look of surprise to his features once more. The child far more articulate than he had anticipated. Amelia insisting she had a booster seat off her own. The word 'booster' not one the Monarch had come across before even with his arguably near fluent English. Booster? What on earth was a booster? Dorian was provided little chance to question this mythical chair before that sudden announcement of dinner was made. The Monarch moving to follow Amelia into the dining room before taking up that offered seat as Troy settled Tenley in her own. Dorian inclined to direct that question toward Troy then as Amelia asked after Sebastian's preferred blood.

"Do you plan to have more children? Is that a possibility?"
