Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Walk me home in the dead of night
I can't be alone with all that's on my mind

With every step up those stairs Carolina felt a bit of the weight which had settled around her within the confines of that SUV dissipate. Her hand resting easily within the cool palm of the Prince as she let their little envoy towards her apartment on the third floor. She was slightly appreciative of the time it gave her to compartmentalize and process everything that had happened on the ride over, the unexpected turn the evening had taken though it was not an unwelcome one. Her mind switching instead to focus on the dark clad figures who trailed the pair so surreptitiously, a knowing smile beginning to dance on her lips as she withdrew her hand from her companion's grasp to fish those keys out of her bag and unlock the door. It was with a decided quickness and a flash of that southern charm that could so often leave bystanders confused at what had just happened that she flashed that smile at those bodyguards before taking ownership of their deserts and disappearing within her home.

That knowing smile continued to flit across her features as she moved to the kitchen bar as she heard Sebastian cement the ground work she had laid for leaving his companions outside of her apartment. Setting the containers on the countertop she near visibly relaxed in the comfort of the familiar atmosphere, her eyes dancing around the interior for just a moment. While nothing to write home about, the setting was undeniably cozy, a bit rustic by necessity as most of her belongings were second hand but Carolina enjoyed the eclectic flair it gave her home. Though things were strewn haphazardly around the living room it was by no means dirty or messy, an organized chaos perhaps of a girl who led a largely nocturnal life and rarely entertained visitors. It was home though, the light scent of the candles she often burned lingering in the air only adding to the appeal as she heard the door click shut behind Sebastian.

Turning her attention to him she was intrigued to see his reaction to the place which had been bare but for a mattress the last time he had been here, though it was a mattress which had come in rather handy. It was almost amusing to see him settle at her shabby kitchen table, bills and a few articles of clothes strewn across the less-used side across from him. It was his voice that pulled her from her musings, focusing on him once more as she leaned against the counter. His request was a surprise, causing her head to cant slightly to the side in confusion and curiosity about this particular request. She knew Tetra didn't run in the most... legal of circles so to speak but she wasn't sure why her relationship with Sebastian might matter to him. Maybe it was a species thing? Vampires weren't the only once who could be a bit territorial. Her shoulders rolled lightly, "Of course, the pack's been great to me but I don't think there's any reason they need to know." She wasn't one to advertise her relationships to anyone anyway so it was no skin off her teeth to keep that from her boss.

Turning her attention back to the crepes she popped the top open on each container, the sight and scent of the delectable desert making her mouth water. Licking her lips she nodded slightly at the vampire's request before turning to dig through those cabinets and extract a pair of mismatched plates and silverware. An errant, sleepy meow caught her attention as she moved to remove each treat from the Styrofoam. "I hope you don't mind cats..." she called over her shoulder as she took a plate in each hand and moved towards the table, "Grayson usually isn't big on personal space." Laughing lightly she placed the delicacies down and settled into her seat as she glimpsed the gray tabby emerging from her bedroom with a stretch.

"Now, you were going to explain?" One eyebrow raised incredulously as she picked up her fork, holding it up with in a mock 'cheers' before eagerly cutting into the perfectly rolled desert, the caramel sauce and fresh banana pieces impossible to be ignored any longer. She intended to savor every moment.
