Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I know some things should just stay broken

i'm well aware this should remain unspoken

His bare feet padded silently across the cool tile floor of the bathroom. The soft pitter patter of water filled his ears as Sterling furrowed his brows. He hadn't anticipated that his ex might stay the entirety of the night, especially when Henry had already promised to leave his bed before the sun rose. Gingerly he reached out to push the shower curtain aside slightly, his head peeking in to glance at the purple and yellow splotches that covered Henry's once pristine flesh. Sterling's voice was tentative as he called out his ex's name - that quiet utterance enough to make the man visibly jump as he pivoted on his feet to face the Warlock with a look of surprise that accompanied the sudden tenseness of every muscle of his body. A soft, small simper of amusement tugged weakly at the corner of his features though it was wholly fleeting. The bright blue of Sterling's gaze slowly swept down his ex's physique and yet, it was hardly any sort of sexual desire that tugged at him. Rather, a hint of concern filled his bright blue eyes as his attention shifted upwards at the sound of Henry's voice.

Sterling's head shook gently at the apology he was given. Admittedly, he hadn't minded Henry's presence all night long. It had been...comforting to have him there, even if Sterling had been largely ignorant of it. It was Henry's inquiry of how he was that prompted the Warlock to pause. "I'm okay but...it doesn't look like you are." He uttered softly, reaching out to delicately brush his fingers on the skin around one of Henry's bruises. It baffled him why Henry hadn't healed those wounds upon his own body, especially since Sterling knew well what the man was capable of. Those thoughts, however, were interrupted by the man's inquiry for a towel and immediately, Sterling's gaze turned upward as he nodded. He stepped away from the shower, only to move towards the countertop. He opened the cabinet underneath, plucking a towel from the depths of the counter before he moved to hand it to Henry. Admittedly, it hardly bothered him what his ex chose to wear, after all, it certainly wasn't the first time that he'd seen the man without clothes on and yet...it was chilly in the apartment.

Sterling
