Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Home sweet home, eh?

i'm always just one jump ahead of the hitmen and one trick ahead of disaster

The drive seemed longer than it was, primarily because it wasn't a normal scenario for Tipson. Letting a stranger drive him about in a car wasn't generally on the top of his to-do list. His 'friends' were those he hung out with at bars or knew from the black market. Sure, there were exceptions but since his friendships were all about having fun versus any true mutual trust it didn't involve visiting one anothers home. If he went to someone else's house it was for business. There were a small handful of times he'd been in a person's home with them in it and those were work-related.

In a car with someone else driving took a lot of control away from Tipson and that was another thing to be wary of. A professional thief needed enough control to escape if there was trouble. Bo seemed a fine guy and one who had no reason at this point to have bad intentions. The guy would have shown his hand by now if he wanted something from Tipson, at least anything Tipson needed to run from. So while he wasn't technically worried, it was the sort of thing that had Tipson extra observant.

Interesting to see Bo smiling a time or two considering the guy seemed like the type who wasn't prone to smiling from what Tipsy had seen so far. When Bo spoke up mentioning hugs, Tipson raised his eyebrows, "Preferably hugs aren't too firm." His ribs would disapprove of something too solid. "So, you needed help handling hugs?" What part of having women in his house was so awkward to the hunter? How much was it awkward to the guy and how much was it just the first excuse that had come to Bo's head as a reason to take Tipson back to his house. Plenty of ladies had hugged Tipson, mostly at wild parties when they were all drunk of course. There was also the occasional person who liked hugging when saying goodbye, the buddy-to-buddy sort. They were generally fast and ended with a clap on his back. All of them were friends who used the term for mutually beneficial in one way or another.

As they pulled up to the townhouse Tipson imagined how it both fit and clashed with what he'd imagine for Bo. White wasn't a color he saw Bjorn choosing on his own, but making it look the same as the others around certainly fit. Then again, Tipson's house looked completely different in the front room than the rest of the house. Blending in was a thing Tipson understood quite well.

The feeling of sitting in a car, looking at a nice house he was being invited into to meet some ladies and have a meal brought memories back of another world. Tipson had been much smaller in that world, more ignorant of the cruelties of life. Mom and dad waiting at home, mom surely prepared to hug him shortly after arrival. The memory cut off fast as that world had ended in a bloody mess. If Tipson could he'd just have someone remove all those memories, he didn't want them anymore.

Tipson got out of the car, mentally shrugging away the bitter-sweet memory, closing the door behind him. Tipson pulled out one of his best weapons, a relaxed friendly smile. Tipson follows along behind Bo, one hand is dipped in a lazy manner in a pocket, mostly to keep it from rubbing at his ribs that keep trying to garner his attention.

The door opened before Bjorn could even finish the motion to knock at it. By the flash of surprise on the guy's face he clearly wasn't used to someone ready and waiting for him. It seemed Bjorn's lady friend was on a first name basis and that was carrying on to Tipson. A polite dip of his head was given, a small dip, the bruise on his neck reminding him it was there. "Hello, Ren, nice to meet you. Sorry for the late-night visit." Nice manners for now till he got a feel for this woman and that innocent friendly smile kept perfectly on his face. The boy next door persona right there.
