Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Amelia wanted a family. She had always wanted a family. Turning into a vampire had dampened all her dreams, forcing her to give up that desire to be a mother. Tenley had been a pleasant surprise. While it had been hard to grasp at first, she grew to love the idea of finally being able to have a baby. It was unconventional and a little risky, but they had welcomed the challenge with open arms. Amelia was confident that Troy welcome a second child just as he had with Tenley. The problem was that they hadn't talked about if they wanted to have another baby.

She was freaking out, unprepared for the reality that they could have just made a baby. He, however, seemed wholly unconcerned. His "oops" comment had her scowling at him. He could have been a hair more sensitive to the fact that she might be carrying their second baby without discussing it first. She was partially to blame for this, knowing she had equal part in preventing pregnancy, but she was still shocked and unprepared.

When he questioned her idea and whether or not it would work, she looked at him. "I don't fucking know, but it's worth trying." She had no idea how long it took sperm to swim up her uterus.

She exited the bubble bath quickly, hurrying over to look for a douche or something she could use in the cabinets. She heard Troy behind her offering to help and she sigh. "It's not here." She didn't have any. There were no douches, no squirt bottles, no enemas. There was nothing she could use.

In a moment of defeat, Amelia began to sob softly, her body folding in on itself as she sat on her knees on eyelevel with the cabinets. She sighed before she stood up, reaching for a towel and drying herself off. Forgoing clothes all together, she left the bathroom, candles still lit, and crawled in to the bed. She held herself in the fetal position as she silently blamed herself for being stupid.
