Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

death incarnate & night triumphant

He lay over her, their hips joined and Andras unwilling to remove himself from her as he gazes down at her, searching her face for pain, regret and instead, he finds love shining back in her eyes. Andras can't help but allow those words to slip past his lips, allowing to give himself, body and soul, over to this magnificent creature. When her hand reaches up to rest on his cheek, he leans into it, his whole body shuddering as she responds in kind, I love you too, Andras. Never in his long existence did he ever think to hear those words from the female below him, he would have been grateful for her friendship, for small pieces of her and yet... she loved him too. Eyes flicking open, he meets her gaze, turning his head slightly to press a kiss into her palm, his dark gaze so overcome with emotion, love and devastation and surprise. When she lifts her face to his once more, Andras captures her lips so heartbreakingly gently. He kisses her for a long moment before breaking away, his gaze tracing her features, noting the unshed tears in her gaze, "Lani darling, don't cry," he murmurs, lifting a finger to brush at her cheeks, though no tears had fallen, his fingers there merely to catch any strays.

"I- I never thought I would hear you tell me you loved me," he admits after a long moment, "Not after everything that had happen, the choice I had taken away from you," he murmurs, eyes wide, open, allowing her to read every single emotion he normally kept hidden away. "We probably should have talked about it before I had taken you to bed," he says, a weak simper tugging at the corner of his lips, though sadness lingers there. Sadness from the events three years ago, that he had completed her transition for entirely selfish reasons, that he could have let her die, let her find peace. Andras would never truly regret his actions, she was alive, she was safe, but he would regret never giving her the choice. Lifting a hand, he gently runs a forefinger down her cheek, tracing her swollen lips, dragging it towards her delicately pointed ears. He traces the outside of her ears, watching her features for a reaction, "They are much more sensitive than human ears, aren't they?" He asks in that dark and sensual voice, already feeling himself beginning to harden inside of her again.

The mere sensation of that slight change has his eyes turning dark once more, gaze snapping to hers. "I did warn you that you wouldn't leave this bed until Monday," a wicked grin adorning his lips as he very lightly thrusts into her, drawing a deep groan from his chest, "However, I am going to be a gentleman and feed you first," he says a bit smugly, finally pulling himself from her, Andras biting his lip to keep himself from pinning her to the bed and rutting like a wild animal. He waited for three years, he can wait a measly hour to finish what he started, though, he was certain that hour would feel like an eternity. Pushing himself to a standing position, he allows his dark hazel gaze to rove over her body before he turns, wings tucked in tight to keep them from snagging on anything, waltzing into the joint bathroom, he runs the water, retrieving a washcloth and wetting it with the warm liquid. He's returning in a moment, after having wound the washcloth out and stalking towards the bed.

He kneels, taking the cloth and tracing the side of her neck before running it down the center of her breasts, Andras merely making eye contact with her, a lazy smile so adorning his features. His hand runs lower and lower with that cloth, before finally he reaches the apex of her thighs, pressing against her, his fingers may or may not working her to draw out another delicious sound from Lani. A dark laugh falls from his lips, "You are so sensitive," he purrs, "And all mine," he growls the last word before finally finishing his cleaning of her thighs before tossing the rag onto the floor. "I am going to go downstairs and cook you something before I decide you don't need to eat," he says, crawling up her body and planting another light kiss on her lips, "Feel free to take as long as you'd like, I'm sure you can find a shirt to cover you in the dresser drawer," he pulls back, though a slight frown mars his forehead. He didn't care for Lani to put on another article of clothing but for food... that seemed more appropriate.

Brushing his lips across her forehead, he pushes himself into a standing position before crossing the room to that very dresser, digging in it for a pair of sweats. Slipping them on, he's entirely aware they were the exact same sweats he had worn the last time she was here, the gray material slung low across his hips as he turns, tossing her crooked grin. He doesn't say another word, his restraint hardly allowing it as he struts out the door and down the stairs. Andras heads straight for the kitchen, attempting to shove his desire into a corner of his mind and locking it away. Flicking on light switches as he goes, he enters the kitchen and begins to catalog his ingredients, he was only full stocked up because Ida had scolded him recently about the empty cabinets. Opening the fridge up, he begins to pull all sorts of veggies out, his mind wandering as he gathers equipment and begins chopping up the numerous ingredients, his highly trained ears listening to Lani upstairs.
