Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The stars in their orbits

Just because Nadya had let Frost within the home didn't mean her guard was down. He hadn't given her a reason to suspect an attack but like any decent mother she held distrust in a man that followed her and held interest in her children for whatever reason. That is why Nadya crouched by the mobiles to be in close proximity to her young should anything urge her instinct of protection. Her chocolate orbs watched Frost settle down rather comfortably onto the couch for someone who was in a new environment. "Oh, I'm sure my brother found you quite curious too." Of course she didn't know the extent to the circumstances that Frost had met her brother, though like Frost she kept her facial features from hiding any surprise she may have had with this new information.

Her attention returned to her offspring, lightly pushing the mobile back and forth for one and playing with the feet of the other. For now they were as happily content as any baby could interacting with their environment. "Why are you intent on making a pack?" She was no fool to not recognize the signs of an Alpha recruiting. His words had already verified to her that Frost had dictated a piece of the South for himself which was territory...and thus members would follow. "What do you gain by having one, hmm?" A pack meant strength and security in numbers and normally helping hands in rearing young. While her own pack may not be actively helping raise the young it was still a force of protection. Obviously if he thought about the reasons he felt the need to build a pack he would understand why she was in hers.

However, the moment for contemplation was short lived as Micah threw the stuffed animal and Izzy had a meltdown. It was hard enough for a mom to console one child let alone two at the same time. She was just returning the toy to Micah when Frost stood and approached Izzy's mobile. Nadya's whole body tensed and her gaze hardened with a very remnant animal growl in her throat. "Just remember I can kill you with my mind." She bit out through clenched teeth. She was very much prepared to cause Frost serious mental damage with her pain power seeing as physically attacking him was also dangerous to the baby he now held in his arms. The fact that she had been on the receiving end tasting a bit of his power that chilled her before was the fact that bothered her. Babies were much more susceptible to the elements. Nadya watched very carefully and stiffly as Frost seated himself, holding Izzy like a natural, spoke to her in a language she had never heard before.

Nadya's stiffness eased only slightly when Izzy appeared unharmed and content to drift into an easy slumber. It certainly allowed Nadya the comfort of consoling only Micah whom she had picked up and cradled protectively in her arms. Slowly she stood from her position by the mobiles to perch on the armrest of the couch so as to be close to Izzy just in case. Where were they? "You were about to tell why you feel the need to create a pack. Apparently for as much of a sharp tongue that you have you actually have an ooey gooey center that craves the love that your parents never provided. So do tell and don't leave out any of the juicy bits." The twins may have stolen her sleep but they could never completely remove Nadya's sardonic side.
