Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I simply sniff in response when he says that he would find a way to get by, crossing my arms as I stare at my stick drawing and wait for him to say something helpful. My scowl only deepens as he tells me that everything is subjective. I can't help but roll my eyes. "So now we're talking about seeing everything in gray instead of black and white. I may be a fox, Frost, but I'm not a dog and I'm not color blind. You want me to feel like you're helping? Then stop threatening my friends and start showing me how to defend myself instead of giving me an art lesson." I raise a brow as he gestures for me to get up but since I'm done having him put down my drawings, I easily set aside the pen and pad and get up, holding my hands at my side as I step toward him, my body suddenly tense since I'm never sure what he's going to do next.

My eyes narrow when he says that making me scared shouldn't be that hard. His expression is hardly reassuring so I react defensively, my hands balling into fists slightly as I feel the warming sensation of my shield as it wraps around me, never sure when he's going to act. And then he moves, lunging behind his back to throw something at me, but the somethings keep coming. Knives? I didn't know I was signing up for a knife fight! I gasp and my shield wavers as I see the first one coming for my face. Instinctively, I duck and cover my face, but when nothing hits me, I slowly uncover my face. The next knife aimed at me hits my shield and I watch as it evaporates. My eyes widen. What kind of knives are these? Scowling back at him, I slowly rise to my feet, my lips setting in a thin line as I suddenly push with my shield as the next knife hits, my shield expanding as I attempt to shove it right back at him. Him and his stupid mind games.

"Not very funny. You could have killed me."
