South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Although they lived in the modern age that didn't necessarily mean that arranged marriage no longer existed. Humans did not carry on such barbaric traditions, but that didn't mean it didn't occur within the supernatural world. How else were Covens, packs, and Kingdoms supposed to conquer and thrive? Children that were from Alphas and Royalty were aware that they would be used for alliance purposes be it to protect their people or ensure that their numbers grow in territory. A pupil under the stronghold of their mentor that led a Coven, be they of the magic or vampire folk, were groomed to be the next leader, should their leader fall, or their domain expanded, the idea of marriage forming a bond with allies or enemies. It was possible that if she didn't have her disease she could have been married off in a way to ensure her pack have a stronger bond with their allies or help grow their pack's power within their area of domain. It was unfortunate that she would not be considered useful to her pack in this manner. Thankfully though she found someone, on her own freewill, her marriage to him not necessarily a ploy for the benefit of others. Gently she nods a soft smile, her fingers wrapping over one another, her notable nervous trait, as the meek girl slowly grows back into her normal behavior.

"I never thought I'd find someone who loves me, for me, and I am absolutely grateful."

It was rather meaningful for the girl that had no one to suddenly find herself amongst those that actually held some sort of bond with her. As she silently reflects her gaze shifts towards her mate as he seems naturally engrossed with the children. As a small smile appears on her mauled face her mind begins to drift on the next steps she has yet to experience with her mate. There were so many new things that they would be able to explore together, and there were some things that they could never obtain. Although he had his own children she knew that between them the opportunity to hear the pitter patter of feet within the Ark could never be. It was her understanding that although they were both Weres, their species was different, and so they could not have children, at least that was what she was taught. When Dorian begins to imply the children are their own, she shakes her head with a small laugh politely explaining he was incorrect.

"Oh, no, none of them are our children. My mate just likes to play. We um...we can't have children of our own. We're Were-Creatures, but I'm a Werewolf and he is a Were-Leopard, and because we are two species we cannot have children, but that is okay...I have him and that is all I need."

Did it sadden her that she could never have children of her own? Of course it did. It was natural for her to want to produce, as instincts would always demand, and yet she was okay. She accepted this and all thoughts of children went away. There was much they could do for one another, and having children wasn't important to her, as it could have been should she had been in love with another. While he explains himself and introduces himself she listens quietly. Her dial tilts to the side, curiously, as his last name strikes a chord within her brain, as she attempted to recall why she knew that name in the first place.

"Aragona...House of Aragon, your family ruled Naples, yes? You were certainly born in a much earlier time, Renaissance time. I can't believe I am meeting someone of royalty...I..."

Royalty. She was in the presence of royalty. Shaken and disturbed that she was not showing him any respect of his title, she quickly got off the bench, and began to lower herself in an attempt of a courtesy. Blue-grey eyes pointed down the ground as her head remained low. The girl was used to having others above her and she was familiar with showing others they were above her. As she curtsied she quickly introduced herself and questioned him.

"Um...hello, my name is Raven Clocksworth, and why are you talking to someone like me...shouldn't you be among your own kind?

Raven Clocksworth.
