South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Really, Edie knew that Frost wasn't exactly the most popular guy in Sacrosanct. She didn't know the extent of it, of course. She knew of the hostility towards the Nightshade pack. She knew that Frost had attacked Raven. She knew all this, and yet it didn't involve her. Her loyalty was to Frost, of course, but the events that had happened before she joined the Chimera pack were hardly her business, right? Unless Frost specifically asked her to do something, she would leave it be. Of course, she had never been particularly good at staying out of other peoples businesses. But it had gotten her in trouble recently in Sacrosanct - her most recent being that she had nearly drowned in the waters outside the Ark for meddling in Nadya's affairs - and she was trying to stay out of it.

It was with nothing but pride that Edie spoke of Frost and the way that she followed him. Being his Beta was something that made her happy. She loved being able to please him and loved that she alone seemed to be able to coax out the humorous side of him. It is that alone that goes through her mind as the other fox prompted what it was that made her follow him. "He's good to me," She responded without hesitation. "He found me when I needed a place, and he likes me for my talents. He's... the first person that's really looked at me and saw what I was worth as a person, and not a prize." It was perhaps the most honest that she'd ever been with someone, and it made her want to squirm. It was that alone that had her focused entirely on what her own hesitation was, and if she was in her human form, she would have been visibly squirming. She hated that she was thinking so openly with this perfect stranger. She should know better. She should protect herself more. She should protect Frost more.

Although, when the other fox began to speak, it was remarkably clear that Frost hardly needed her protection at all - not that she really thought that he would. She knew he was capable of horrible things, and as such, showed no reaction to this declaration that he had done these things. No, she merely moved to circle the other fox, loving the way that the woman seemed to tense. It was only after she circled her once did she move to sit in front of her, this time closer to the young fox. "Frost helps himself first. But when he cares about you, he truly does care about you. If he offered to help you, it was for your good, not his." She spoke gently.

Truly, she understood her wariness. After all, how many times had the Alpha of her childhood pack subjected her to cruelty, only to say it was for her own good? How many times had she been in the same situation? "I'm not saying he's perfect," Edie said finally, eyes focused on the other woman. "Because he isn't. But he has been good to me. He gave me a home and a high position within his pack. He trusts me, and has been good to me." She let out a sigh. "Those he considers pack are important to him. He has a sweet side, I promise. But I am sorry that he did those things to you." It was a genuine apology. She'd been in that same position, being so wary of those near her. She knew how hard it could be.
