South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

A soft exhale left Alexander's lips as that nearly autumn zephyr so surrounded him, shifting his brunette locks. The Dark Hunter was wholly silent as he listened to the familiar sound of the equestrian kind. They were as much of his life too as those wars Alexander had so frequently engaged within, persisting even into that life he had found in the aftermath of that heartbreak that led to his own near death. There was something about those moments, about these scents, about this place that so set his old soul at ease, the man entirely content to simply wait for the young girl to take however much time was necessary under the light of that full moon. His body shifted ever so slightly on the fence, his back to the stable as his gaze trailed over not only the area he had to work with but too the forested pathways that so surrounded this place. It was ideal. He could see why the young girl had taken such an interest in somewhere like this. A small simper so toyed at the corners of the man's lips, the hunter lost entirely within his thoughts even though his instincts so registered the presence of were. He was not wholly on guard as much as he so normally was, if only for the knowledge of Calliel herself, and yet, that soft touch of that velveteen maw on his shoulder caused him to twist, the man pausing to take in the ivory and silver hued female that stood before him.

"Ach, ekeí pou eínai, polý mou." (Ah, there she is, my pretty.). Those greek words, that language he was so born from, spilled thoughtlessly from his lips. It was a language he often indulged in with Frost himself if only for the simple fact that such softened tone and accented lyrics had a way of soothing the bristly steed. Alexander stepped off of that fence, the man entirely undaunted for his obviously slight of stature in comparison to the female that stood before him. His hand gingerly reached out to rest upon her ivory cheek, his forehead lightly brushing against her much larger one before Alexander withdrew just enough to let his lips lightly brush against that silver mark that so existed there. "You will do well, Calliel." Those words were soft, as if the Hunter had only truly just remembered the girl in front of him was hardly horse at all. Still, he stepped away from her, his hand running down the length of her body as the Macedonian King so took the moment to get to know her physic as a equine. That simple moment of so touching her, petting her, studying her, it was that where he so drew much of his information. Where did she like to be petted in reward for good work? What places was she skittish that he should avoid? It was that desire to learn her that saw Alexander keep his hand upon her body as he moved, so allowing him access to her thoughts.

It was only once he was done with his inspection that Alexander found himself pausing at her side once more, his fingertips gingerly interlacing in her main in an affectionate ruffle of sorts as he so commented, "Let us see how much horse there is is still in you, hm, girl?" Frost, for example, behaved for more equine them man when it had so come to this. He had reacted much like a horse would rather then that intelligent brain that he so had access too. He was the first were-creature Alexander had tried to ride and yet, he was not yet certain of which traits of his experience with Frost had been merely the peculiar equine and which had been the stubborn mortal. "Be still, polý mou." He uttered softly, placing his hands with care upon the girl's spine, all the while entirely aware of her figure as he lifted himself up upon her back, positioning himself with care. For a moment he merely remained there, his hand gingerly brushing against her nape ever so sweetly, allowing the horse beneath him to simply get used to the weight of having a body upon her. "Let me know when you are ready, Calliel." He uttered softly, waiting with patience for the woman for some sort of sign that she was ready to continue. After all, the last thing he wanted was to pressure the girl when she was not ready. It was rare, genuinely, when Alexander was so decidedly sweet, that calm, endearing demeanor pulled somewhere from the stoic conqueror only in the presence of such creatures as this.
