South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. South
i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Even in this particular body she was still a wary creature. Grey-trimmed ears fold back as her tail twitches in an anxious manner. Eyes remained focused upon the obsidian pelted equine as Dorian leaves it there. Even though she was not standing beside the massive creature she still felt that the space between wasn't enough. She knows this particular horse is not Frost or some sort of Were that may know him, and yet, she was still uncertain if it was an animal that could be trusted. Horses may be prey animals, and yet, she is aware of the feeling of its dinner-sized hooves crushing her body entirely. She did not want a repeat of that, but before she could try to spread more space between them she was distracted by the silver-eyed fae making his approach. As he crouches down before her, she can't help built tilt her dial to the side, puzzled as to why he would come so close and lower himself down to her level. He was King and what she understood was that one of royalty was never supposed to be down on the ground in this particular manner. While he speaks she is obviously embarrassed by his words. Her eyes averted his gaze, as her front paws lifted up and down, pressing the ground softly as her grey stained tail swayed in a sheepish manner. Raven was grateful that wolves were incapable of blushing, because if she was in her human form, her cheeks would be glowing a soft pink by now. As he compliments her species she cannot help, but feel surprised. The words wolves and noble were never used within the same sentence, especially when admiring a wolf in such a way.

"Thank you very much for your compliment, your Highness. My species is never viewed as something so honorable as noble. I am used to seeing our kind labeled as villainous and demonic. It is good that you can see the truth in us."

Raven cannot help, but pull her lips back in what she assumed was a wolfish grin. Her tail continues to sway behind her, a subtle gesture that she is indeed happy. As his hand comes close to her she cannot help, but flinch for a moment, still uncertain of him. However, she allows his fingers to stroke along her neck and shoulder, his perfect digits sliding along her smooth, soft ebony fur, but it would suddenly turn rough as he glides over the scars within that area. His touch and placement was not in a dominant way, or that reminded her she was a pet, and so she would not lecture him. After all her species understood touch and this would be one thing she would accept. For a moment she actually leaned into his touch, but stopped the moment his fingers left her luxurious fur. As he stands himself up and gestures towards his steed, out of habit she tilts her dial in greeting to the horse, for the moment forgetting it was indeed not a Were. Hearing Dorian say that it was a gift from his boyfriend caused the girl to sharply turn her head in his direction. She had never before met someone who preferred the companionship of a male. With a nod her tail swayed side to side for a moment in a pleased manner, telling him that she found no fault in his choice. He was happy, wasn't that important, wasn't that good enough? This boyfriend of his was quite kind enough to give him a horse. As Dorian swings himself up on the horses back, she speaks softly once more.

"He is pretty and that was a very kind gift to be given from your boyfriend. I do not like horses though...you will make sure he doesn't trample me?"

The very thought of the horse being near her still frightened her and yet she could not abandon him now. She had to stay. After all she promised him that she would help him hunt and she wasn't one to go back on her word. As he explains the technique needed for this particular hunt she finds it quite familiar. When she hunted with her pack her role was to help hunt down and chase the prey so that her Alpha could make the final kill. With a nod, to say she understood, she turned around lifting her dial and inhaling the scent of the forest. There was a variety of smells in the air, but the lupine pinpointed one in particular. Without a word she began to run, one grey ear turned back to hear the pounding of the horse's footsteps behind her. With a low growl her pace slows as she begins to lower herself to the ground, both ears pointed forward and she stalks towards the prey she knows is nearby within the brush. Without a sound she pounces and snaps her jaws at the prey she found for the Fae King. With another snap of her jaws, her voice presses into Dorian's mind, as the peculiar marked lupine begins to chase a rather large rabbit in the direction of the King.

"Here I come, your highness."
