South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Mira Ramos

The panther encircles her, observing and prowling about in a vulturine way. Every sense is aware like electric sparks biting at the bare flesh where his gaze landed. It goes against everything she was being circled in such a predatory manner. It makes her skin crawl, makes her want to have the ability to stand up for herself with every fiber in her being, even if she didn't execute it, having the ability gave one power. She could feel his gaze as tangible as trap around her ankle. Only that gaze was the most human thing about the man in panther form. Being a were, hadn't he been used to naked flesh before? Nudity somehow came along with the gig but he was aware of her naked flesh than she would have liked and yet it didn't bother her in the slightest.

She hadn't a choice but to remove the trap and get the hell out of dodge. Every moment that slipped away from them brought them closer and closer to danger. Well he could probably run with agile ease, but in truth she was defenseless as a mouse caught in a trap if the hunter should come to check on his trap. She began to feel the weighted pressure upon her shoulders like an hourglass losing sand. Mira was running out of time.

Hunters were nearly eradicated where she had come from, after all, how the hell can you by king of the wolves with no wolves to lead? How did they manage here? With hunters running amuck and destroying the few of their kind she wonders. Hell this already had seemed like paradise in comparison far far away from the tyrant wolf. "You have a hunter problem." Intelligent amber eyes look up to peer at him pointedly as he somehow managed to make paws useful tools. It interested her and perplexed her at the same time. "Shit, be careful with that. I could have saved myself." She growls, wiggling her fingers to show she had turned human for a reason. She nearly passed out at that moment when tooth and claw somehow managed to disarm the trap, releasing its silver death grip from her ankle. She could handle pain, oh my yes, but everyone has their limits and nearly severed limb seemed to be her cut off. If she weren't in so much agony, she would have been more intrigued by the scenario. It was odd enough to have aid from another species.

She paused, tilting her head as if allergic to the words that were next to come out of the mouth. In a breath that seemed like a sigh she said those words. "Thank you." Genuine gratitude laced within that single phrase that rarely ever left the threshold of her lips. To use those words were like adding the weight of a burden being indebted to someone.

He circled her again, his fur almost brushing against her flesh as he did so before moving out of reach. He faced her than sitting upon his haunches gaze looking expectant. She stifled a laugh that suspended in her throat daring to escape. He looked like an expectant puppy dog waiting for a treat, hoping to be rewarded for a good sit, he hardly seemed like a dangerous jungle cat. At the very least she did owe him for getting off of his perch.

Her ocher hued appraising gaze fell upon her wound, observing her leg grimly, allowing her fingers to caress gently over the deep slice that nearly took the leg clean off. She muttered more out of frustration of her own stupidity of getting caught in a trap in the first place. Her own cockiness got her in this mess. This was not going to heal, at least not until the silver poison had time to work through her pain raked body. Blood tickled her skin as it trickled down her foot snaked down in finger like streams of her life blood which appeared like black oil in the dimly lit surroundings. All she wanted to do was to lick her wounds and suffer of the poison's hold alone. A slight spasm took hold of her body uncontrollably, that one could easily be mistaken for a twitch of muscle. But the tremors would start and she couldn't hide that, they both knew the cold didn't affect them in the same way. Their bodies were like furnaces keeping them warm. Even naked upon the snow laden ground she felt the bite of cold but wasn't affected like a human would. She sat, pushing herself with her own good leg away from the trap so that she slid lightly on the frozen snow, leaving a small trail before her back met a tree. The bark felt grounding to her if you will, as though she felt sturdier allowing a small distance from her and the panther. A sheen formed upon her forehead, her fingertips brushed stay strand of hair from her face. She folded her knees up as if to protect her from the cold breeze that pressed against her.

Drawing in a breath she exhaled, "I suppose I owe you one." She met his striking emerald eyes, noticing them for the first time. There was something hypnotic and intelligent about the way his mind worked. But she must have been mistaken, blaming it on being delirious from the blood loss and silver poisoning.

"So tell me, what is it you want? I bet I can get you so much catnip you won't know what to do with yourself." She half teased, even though there was some relief of the trap being removed from her leg, she was suffering. It was in this moment, a twinge of panic made her heart beat accelerate slightly and yet even as her eyes narrow. Or was it her heart working in overtime to cleanse the silver in her veins. She attempts to remain as stoic as possible, she wanted out of here. With too much pride she didn't want any more help than he had already given her. Everything came with a price and she didn't want to owe him anymore than she already did. She would need to shift soon, to help aid the healing process and to use her wolf's saliva and time to help heal her wounds.
