South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The assassin sometimes forgets that there were other supernatural creatures that held such powers but when he simply vanishes into thin air and reappears a few feet to her left, she can't help but physically flinch away from his direction. Vhalla had learned to be wary of other magic users as she didn't have the ability to control her own affinity. Frowning in his direction at the sudden reappearance of the man, it helps her stifle the flames again. "If someone is literally on fire I'm not sure I would sneak up on them," she scowls at him haughtily, placing a hand on her hip.

After her scare subsides, she can't help but feel the excitement growing in the pit of her stomach that she had managed to create something other than her becoming a human torch. When he responds, she listens to him eagerly giving him a quick nod that she had heard him, ignoring that he had nothing much else to say on her jet of fire. Pleased with herself, she smiles slightly looking away from him briefly. It's only when he gives her a backhanded compliment does she frown in his direction, inspecting him from head to toe, recognizing him as the man from The Ark and Sam's boyfriend.

Narrowing her eyes at him she shrugs her shoulder, eyeing the scorched material briefly. Vhalla has a difficult time deciding if Tet is being in sincere or he was simply mocking her. To be fair, she did try to light him on fire, he had every right to mock her, however, Vhalla was stubborn and didn't take to being made fun of easily. Folding her arms across her chest, she mentions The Ark's fighting rings and she can't help but look at him incredulous.

The assassin finds herself rather offended that he would suggest that she would die in the fighting rings. He clearly did not know her at all if he imagined she would fall victim to an animal. Even if she were not allowed to fight with a dagger or magic, she had just her bare hands she would manage, she always did. Scoffing at him, she digs her fingers angrily into her sleeved arms, to keep from reaching out to poke him in the chest. "You would do well to remember that I am not someone who is easy to kill and I would not be beaten or killed, for that matter, by a- by an animal!" she sneers at him. Perhaps the assassin had taken it too far but she had such an urge to settle matters right here and now to show him she didn't have just some fragile human body.

After several moments when she answers Sam, she arches a brow at him, those arms still folded across her chest angrily. "No, I don't she just up and left without a word," she says bitterly, hating that she was suddenly so honest with him. Looking away from him it's only when his tone changes very subtly about being brought back from the dead that draws her back in. His emotional state had suddenly shifted, very, very slightly, to becoming depressed and confused that has Vhalla dropping her arms to her sides, feeling uncomfortable that she had brought it up. The assassin never did well around others who felt sorry for themselves or crying, how she despised situations where someone was crying. She was not one to console others, she simply did not know what to do rather than pat them on the back and tell them to get over it.

You can imagine how well that goes most of the time.

Sighing, she glances at him again rubbing a hand on the back of your neck, "Er, forget about it. Forget that I-that I mentioned it," she mumbles, her cheeks flushing very light in embarrassment as she looks away.
