South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

It was funny really, that Raven so regarded her and callous and inconsiderate when the fact of the matter was so very far from the truth. She was hardly oblivious, really, to those words Raven muttered under her breath, the woman pausing at the edge of that pond to glance up at her companion. Serafina despised those ghastly individuals that haunted her, often prone to simply ignoring them even if doing so often prompted them to merely stalk her with an increased vengeance. It was for Raven alone that she was not only willing to put up with the possibility of adding that Alpha haunting her every step, but also the prospect of hunting him down. A small shrug crossed her shoulders, "If it would make you happy." She uttered simply, turning her gaze towards the lake as she placed her hand upon the surface of that water. She knew Raven didn't understand her efforts. Hell, she knew Raven didn't understand her, but Serafina was trying in her own peculiar ways to help the female feel better. She was at least acknowledging the woman's loss, even if it wasn't to the wolf's liking. The girl stepped out onto the ice, her arms pinwheeling as she pushed those thoughts far from her mind, instead reaching down with ease to craft those blades out of her own sharpened element.

That prospect of the woman dying thanks to her ice, however, was one Serafina was wholly skeptical of. The girl was entirely certain of her affinity. Even if they plunged into the icy depths, she wouldn't let any harm come to either of them. Another shrug crossed Serafina's shoulders at that retort. Truthfully, though she was happy for her companion finding love within the man, she highly doubted she and him would ever see eye to eye. Though she personally hadn't knocked the pair out, it seemed as if Tobias had not forgiven her for simply existing within that same space, much less for encasing him in ice when he tried to eat the young witch she was supposed to tutor. It wasn't her problem he didn't like her - she didn't hate him, after all. Thankfully, any further thoughts on the topic were interrupted by a voice from the banks, inquiring as to whether or not she should be even doing this. The girl's retort fell from her lips immediately and yet, even that comment of her age caused a grin to cross Serafina's lips. "Look who's talking, miss mini police." She commented, entirely unperturbed by being called a child.

The lake beneath her, however, and the woman's insistence that it surely must not have been easy caused a shrug to cross Serafina's shoulder's. "Eh, it's not that hard. I'm shit at my other powers though." She was rather carefree about it, even so far as willing to admit she certainly failed on many levels when it came to her abilities. This, however, was the one she was certain of, enough to entrust her life to that frozen ice. She watched in silence as the ivory haired girl addressed her companion, the two clearly had met before and yet, Serafina saw little reason to get herself involved in business that clearly had little to do with her. Rather, it was several moments later that the witch offered to assist the woman in joining her. She was hardly oblivious to that cringe the woman regarded her with, a soft snort leaving her nose. "Oh, don't worry babe, I'll cool you down." The girl uttered, providing her companion with a decidedly mischievous wink. It wasn't often that Serafina's usually sassy demeanor turned to something so particularly...playful, few able to get past her rather rough exterior. Still, there was something of this stranger's smart mouth that somehow...clicked for her. Enough that being told 'no' caused Serafina to regard the girl in careful contemplation. Hm. No. This would not do at all.

"Raven, come here, I need your feet too." She stated, turning her attention abruptly towards her companion as she pushed off slightly, gliding across that ice with grace to meet the woman half way. She bent down towards her companion, her fingers tracing the bottom of Raven's sneakers as she crafted those blades for friend. "There you go." She stated, rising only to ensure her companion was steady before she nodded ever so briefly towards her newfound company upon the bank. "Fetch her for me, would you? It's not fun without all of us." It hardly mattered to her that Vhal seemed unwilling to join them, she was determined to see this plan through. Raven deserved a moment of fun and...this girl? Well....Serafina decided she liked her, probably much to the woman's future displeasure.
