South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Relieved that Dorian would allow her to pay for their tea she began to relax and sit back within her chair. It would have been absolutely rude if she would not have done something in return. The gesture of presenting her with a gift was very considerate of him, which brought embarrassment and shame in not doing anything for him in return. What could she give the Fae King that he already had or could get? That he wouldn't have to spend any money on their beverage at this café would be inadequate, but it would calm her nerves and lessen the humiliation she was feeling. Talking about her mate wasn't a frequent opportunity. Either she was around people that knew him already, or she was around people where the topic of that conversation wouldn't pop up. It wasn't that she didn't want to talk about him. It was more...she didn't think others would understand or agree with her testament of the boy or accept her decision. Dorian was different from the others. Not only did he come from a different time, but he seemed more capable of being opened to new things or ideas. Of course she got a bit carried away talking about her mate, but she was hoping to convince him to remember the positive things she said about him, just in case he did ever meet him. The remark of soul mates was something she would expect Dorian to say. In this day and age soulmates seemed not only archaic, but childish, and one she believed and didn't think she could believe. His affirmation of soulmates existing was not a mockery to her belief that it was possible they could be. A gentle simper appeared as she casually nodded her head.

The idea of going on a vacation seemed like an impossible dream to achieve. Surely Tobias would enjoy the adventure of going somewhere different, exploring something new. It would be exciting and thrilling. Of course, a bit overwhelming, but something good. It had been far too long since they allowed themselves to be happy. Of course they did something small or significant to make the other smile, and yet it was still difficult. Getting away from the West District, taking a break from the Ark may just be what they need in order to move on. Of course they were allowed to grieve, and yet they were also allowed to continue on with their lives. Social customs dictate that no one should horde the conversation. She felt as if she had spoken far too much and it would be rude if she continued any longer. So, she inquired about his own love, hardly knowing anything about him. Allowing the man a moment to collect his thoughts she took a drink from her tea. Quietly she listened to the Fae King speak about his own counterpart. Nodding thoughtfully quite pleased to hear that he had found someone just for him. Everyone deserved someone, even a 600 year old Fae King. Just watching him gush about his another half left Raven to smile even brighter, delighted to see that he was quite cheerful.

Both of them were quiet, private, and kept their thoughts to themselves. It was good that they trusted one another, allowing themselves to speak aloud things they may not share with others. Of course there were some things she was not telling him, within good reason, believing that some things just didn't need to be voiced allowed. This was good, a healthy conversation. This was different and yet she enjoyed this. Perhaps maybe they could continue this, but with their counterparts present. It would do some good for her mate to meet others that were different. If she was going to want to spend more time with Dorian, then she would need to get her mate to trust him enough to believe that he would not harm her or steal her away. Even though she didn't trust males very well, it was important that she meet Dorian's own love, to learn that he would not harm her either. Unsure with how this would all turnout she brought up the idea, that may be a really good idea...or not at all.

"I am very happy you finally found someone for you. We're both lucky in a way. To find someone that makes us happy, to find someone that makes it feel like we belong. I would like to meet him one day. Tobias is a bit territorial around males, but maybe if he can see that you two are interested in each other and not me, he might not be so protective."
