South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The Sun Also Rises

Dorian was as content as Troy, it seemed, to move beyond that topic of Samantha and what remained of that court they had both been a part off. Whether or not the woman would ever return he hardly knew. Dorian suspected she would not. After all, Matteo had predicted as much and the elder Fae was yet to be proven wrong in any sense. Even so, he supposed, it hardly mattered all that much- he could not change it, he could not bring Samantha back or repair whatever was broken within her and now- between them. Dorian instead choosing to focus upon that single bright spot in all of this. His subsequent moving in with Sebastian and the simple joy that had brought him. Even the thought was enough to make him smile! Yet, even his considerations upon that were short lived in the wake of Troy's announcement that he was to be a Father. A father! The shock upon Dorian's own features was surely clear, his silver gaze widening readily and in something almost akin to disbelief. Fae, as a species after all, were hardly known for their fertility and even more then that- to Father a child born Fae, as they were, was an even more difficult task. Dorian perhaps so wrongly assuming that Troy's child would be as such. Those words of congratulations falling from his lips in a steady rush. A child was exciting news! Nothing short of a blessing. The Fae King assured it was surely as it was in his own day and that some celebration was necessary. Any further words however had barely formed upon his lip before Troy so announced he was not married, both Dorian's eyes lifting upward in a gesture of surprise (and perhaps a little judgement). Did he truly wish for his future child to be born out of wedlock? Had he any idea of the implications of that? Dorian himself so having suffered such a misdemeanour on his Mother's part first hand. Still, he supposed it would be dreadfully impolite to query Troy on his relationship matters, Dorian so considering the most diplomatic manner in which he might suggest a more official union between the other Fae and his lover only to find himself afflicted with further surprise.

"A vampire?"

Surely not. Even Dorian had been aware of Troy's....aversion to vampires since the day they had first met upon the beach even though they had made no effort to discuss such a topic and yet, more then the other Fae's simple dislike of the species was the very notion that this vampire, Amelia, was pregnant. It was impossible. Surely. The dead could not reproduce. Dorian was assured of it. He had read countless textbooks upon the notion of the living body (until Sebastian had confiscated them) and indeed, while his mind had been utterly astounded by the discoveries of modern science and the function of a human body in all aspects, he had come to the simple conclusion that of all species, vampires simply could not reproduce. Vampires did not have children. A body that was, for all intents and purposes, dead, surely could not father life nor give birth to it. Had he been...incorrect in his thinking? He had never asked Sebastian about it so directly, indeed he had merely presumed. Dorian so noting that once he returned home that he would surely ask his lover about his....capabilities in that area. Dorian's expression so becoming all the more dumfounded as Troy continued. A sick vampire? A pregnancy so confirmed by a doctor? Protection? His head was positively swimming with such information. The age-old Fae so struggling to comprehend these revelations that so contradicted all he had known before.

"I find this entirely unbelievable! I was not aware vampires held this capability at all! This is astounding! Perhaps it is you...."

Even despite that shock, Dorian was, at his core, an entirely curious being. The Fae unable to prevent that manner in which he turned his gaze readily upon Troy now, allowing his own affinity to focus upon the other Fae alone if only to assess him, in a fashion. That life that shone from Troy was undeniably bright and yet it was surely no brighter or more vibrant then his own. Dorian so noting for the first time that Fae, like themselves, seemed to be far brighter than most other species. It was, he supposed, a representation of their own immortality and yet here and now he hardly fixated upon such idle queries. Dorian instead focusing his attention largely on Troy alone. The other man hardly seeming different in any sense, no part of the man any brighter than anywhere else, his ability to father a child thereby surely no lesser or greater then Dorians own and yet still.....still this did not explain how he had fathered a child with a vampire. Unless of course- it was Amelia that perhaps possessed some previously unseen trait amongst her species. Either that or it was some combination of magic, as Troy put it, that had so uniquely combined between them. How fascinating.

"One of you is surely 'magic' as you say. You must be quite skilled."

There was a ready tease to such words, Dorian allowing one eye to lift in that gentle touch of humour before his realisation of just how soon this child was due saw the man frown slightly once more. Did these things not usually take at least nine months? Had this too changed during his time away from the modern world? Another thought entirely so crossing his mind then.

"Forgive my bluntness, but this child, is it Fae? Can modern doctors tell these things?"

If it was not Fae, after all, then what was it? In all his own time he had known only of Fae and Fae couples or Fae and Human couples, such unions producing human children more often then not with but the occasional Fae child like himself born from them. Yet Fae and Vampire? Vampires were not born after all, they were created from humans. Yet would this child then, be human? Dorian so suddenly finding himself positively afflicted with an abundance of thought as he glanced back towards Troy.
