South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.
Home of: The Cavalry

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

That slam of the front doors reverberated within that cement and steel warehouse, the young woman glanced upwards though she had little notion of whom or what was intervening. The girl bit around that rag in her mouth, struggling against those bindings only to find them tightening against her pale flesh. This was not going well and, to be frank, it was altogether plausible that those doors were opened only by her attacker's comrades. The woman drew that ice in closer around her frame till there was but a singular small crevice that allowed access to the girl. Her figure shivered in the cold that surrounded her and yet, she was unwilling to give up that protective barrier. Not yet. A soft exhale left her nose as she shifted on the ground, attempting to twist enough that her hands might be able to reach the ropes that so tightly bound her ankles. It was that sudden feeling of death however, that made the woman pause, her eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly. Someone in that warehouse had met their untimely end, she could feel the rage in that corporeal form, the man was near drawn to her, much like the unhappy soul whom the woman herself had killed. Her stormy gaze widened ever so slightly as the pair of transparent beings so stood over her, looking down at her with a near malicious intent even if they could not truly harm her.

She could hear the pounding of feet against the cement as those men who were once after her instead turned to face whatever, or whomever, it was that so intervened. It concerned her, naturally, and yet there was decidedly little she could do. The sound of her name drew caused the girl to life her head, her eyebrows rose with a hint of surprise. She'd never expected Azrael to come to her rescue and yet, there was something almost comforting about the knowledge that he was here. It was decidedly ridiculous, those notions that settled within her, the woman still wholly convinced their relationship would never work out and yet....she was perhaps dubious by nature. That effort to form his name around that ball of cloth in her mouth came out as little more then a muffled sound of her soprano voice, the female entirely frustrated at her inability to call him to her side and yet, he was a decidedly intelligent man. Surely he would have made the connection if he'd found his way here in the first place. She just needed to wait. She trusted in the hunter's intuition, in his stubbornness and determination. Everything would be okay. At least, such were her efforts to reassure herself, even if she failed to withdraw that ice that so surrounded her. After all, even if he was here, there were still those out there who intended to attack her.

Serafina hardly expected, truly, that press of another voice within her mind, that familiar feeling of Raven's thoughts in her skull caused her eyebrows to furrow. In truth, by itself, perhaps Raven's presence was not entirely surprising. After all, Serafina had felt it when the wolf had been in trouble - but to have the female here with Azrael was entirely unexpected. After all, their constant bickering and noteable dislike for one another had hardly been overlooked by the woman, she simply had disregarded their feelings for each other with a rather blatant lack of care. It was that inquiry of where she was, however, that saw her head shake ever so slightly. Frankly, she was fairly certain that near cave of ice she'd created was fairly obvious, though perhaps Raven was in a different part of the warehouse, maybe she had yet to see all that Serafina had done. Either way, the girl was rather assured the lupine would find her way all the same, all she could hope was they would do so without any additional deaths. The eyes of those ghastly men bore a hole in the woman that she entirely disliked. They would not be easy to get rid of - of that she knew with a certain sinking feeling in her stomach.

She could feel that sudden crack of ice in, even if she was entirely unaware of the simple fact that it was her lover's sword so feeling through that chilled element. It made her shift uncomfortably and yet, she saw no reason to regrow it, not yet. Whomever it was still was far enough away from her that she didn't perceive it entirely as a threat. Unfortunately, she was not the only one who failed to properly assess the situation in front of her. Those men whom so chased after her were entirely hesitant, surely, after seeing their comrades so quickly downed. There was a clear hint of hesitance within them, as if they had considered tucking their tails and running - at least until that singular man that had so orchestrated that whole charade stepped into that metaphorical battlefield. He was quite unlike his companion's in the simple regard that he was not of the mortal variety. Oh no, instead, the fae's wings unfolded from their near unperceptive position upon his back, his body rising to so meet this threat head on, his presence alone somehow seemed to coax his sub servants into action once again, the men throwing themselves into the fray with a near clear disregard for their own wellbeing. Serafina's rescue, it seemed, would hardly be all that easy.
