South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

Abigail Hughes

Being a human was hard work. There was that house to take care of and chores to do and like...food to buy and she had to worry about making that money her father sent her stretch until the next time he happened to be in a town that could even send wire transfers and not to mention the whole studying thing and making sure she pulled out those good grades that even caused her dad to let her be here in the first place. It was all just too much some days! How people also managed to juggle a job in that chaotic metropolis was beyond her, but she supposed she'd have to learn eventually. She would get a job one day, wouldn't she? Maybe she'd get something out in the forests or something somewhere where going to work wasn't so bad. Yeah! That sounded nice! But for now, as she stared down at that cellphone in her hand, Abigail decided that it was a little bit okay to let herself simply be a panda for a bit and not worry about all of that. After all, that grade for her final that was displayed on that little screen was far better than even she had hoped for. All that studying had paid off and she was quite sure she deserved a little mini-vacation of sorts. Her poor brain was so tirrreeeddd.

She dropped her bag at the base of a rather large oak tree, her hazel eyes shifting over that forest that surrounded her in a near paranoid nature before she began to slowly peel those clothes from her frame. Abigail might have been a were-critter but she was a modest were-critter. Her parents had always taught her to be humble and not run around like a crazy naked lady like some of their kind did, not that she'd really met many of her kind to begin with before coming to this busy bee city. They were kind of cut off from the world in that village up in those mountains. Sometimes, she still found herself overwhelmed by all the noise of the world that surrounded her - but not here. Here there was nothing but the chirps of birds and wildlife. Here was where Abby felt at home. Shedding her skin was almost easy, the young woman was entirely used to those feelings as her human form condensed in on itself to reveal that far smaller form of that panda. She shook out her fur, her mouth parted in a yawn as those small ears twitched. She could hear SO MUCH MORE like this! Like the birdy birds chirping was louder and the hoppity bunnies in the bushes nearby that she'd missed before. Maybe they'd be her friend?

The panda waddled after those bunnies, near attempting to hop like them the closer she got to them. It was easy! Wiggle wiggle hop hop hop! Well, it would have been easy, if they didn't speed hop away from her. No fair. A soft huff left her lips as she watched them run for cover and yet, the girl was altogether curious of what they had found in that bush in the first place. Tentatively, she stepped closer towards that bush, her little nose twitching. Yup. There was something there. But what? The girl shoved her head into that bush, her footfalls were altogether delicate as she eased her way further through those little bushy twig limbs and all those leafy greens. The smell was getting stronger. She knew that smell. She knew she knew it! What was it? It was on the tip of her tongue.....APPLES. OH MY GOD. SHE SMELLED APPLES. But they definitely weren't anywhere in that bush! I mean, she was in the bush and she couldn't see any! Maybe if she wiggled a little this way and a little that way and....oh god. She was stuck. NOOOO HELP. HELLLPPPP.

The girl flailed wildly in her bush, struggling to get free and, unbeknownst to her, making the whole bush rattle in her efforts to escape. It was the sound of a voice that caused her to freeze near immediately. Uh oh. Someone was there. Then again, most someone's she had met had been nice to her. There was Arlo and Alexis. They were her friends. And she met Calliel and Raven and they were nice....maybe this someone would be nice too? That near singsong voice caused her little ears to flick as those footsteps came ever closer, well - there was no time like the present, right? She didn't expect that sudden face that appeared between those leaves, a chirp of surprise left her lips. Woah now, she moved fast! But....she didn't look too mean...maybe this would be okay. 'Hi!'. That simple word sounded little more than a bark from her mouth before her back foot slipped, sending the little panda further into that bushy mess she was so struggling to escape from. 'No! Mr. Bush! Let GO!' She gripped at the shrubbery, entirely unaware of the possibility that she might very well be understood.
