South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Henry was getting irritated with himself. Even as he stood trying to balance himself on the limb of the tree, he couldn't help but still fill as though this body was so foreign to him. He had spent the good part of the evening trying to coax his consciousness out of the haze of the animal. It was still very hard for him to live at one with his animal half. He was still denying it's existence and he was still fighting to take hold of his consciousness. The struggle was exhausting at best and it quickly tired Henry out. But he pressed onward. He told himself he had to try...it was for the benefit of the pact. He still needed Tetradore's help to get his own consciousness to the forefront of the animal's thoughts...but each time it took less and less effort to draw Henry out and keep him out.

Hesitantly, he stepped forward on the limb, feeling it wobble beneath his weight. His movements were still awkward and jagged, but he was slowly getting better. He refused to give up. After being told that the strength of their pack was only as good as the weakest link...Henry had decided to really try. After all, he was already responsible for what had happened to Sterling. He didn't want to be responsible for anything that happened to the pack as well.

He caught the scent of the coyotes and heard their howl. Like Tet, his ears rose to peak at the top his head as he listened quietly for them to come into view. Already he was fighting the animal back who wanted nothing more than to protect this tree that he had claimed as his own. But it was Tetdradore's words that caused a low growl to emit from his throat. But he unwillingly complied, his body awkwardly lowering to the tree branch as he waited.

And then she came into view. While he had never seen Malia in her coyote form, he did recognize her smell...and that of Tet's sister. He had met her in a bar not too long ago. He had gathered enough info to know that the relationship was a hair touchy. So curiously, his eyes watched Tet wondering what he was going to do with Malia. She was his friend and he wanted to continue their friendly relationship. This would be test enough to know if he could continue.

He heard the roar of warning but he did not do the same. He was quiet, obeying his alpha. Only when he rose to his feet did Henry do the same. He offered a silent nod when he was told to stay close. He watched how Tet climbed down from the tree with fluidity and grace. Henry tried to replicate the movement, but his descent was far more awkward and ended with a tumble. Instead of just his feet drenched in mud, Henry found that it was other places along his body from his less than graceful landing. He growled softly under his breath.

Slowly, the feline stepped closer to Malia. He came up to her and sniffed her lightly as his paw reached out to poke her gently. Was she alive? She looked like she was breathing. As the sound of the coyotes began to get louder, he pawed at her form once more to try and get her to rouse from her slumber. It didn't take a genius to know that they needed to get the fuck out of here and quickly.
