South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

if these wings could fly for the rest of our lives
The start of the school semester was always stressful for the young woman. Though she'd certainly gotten better in navigating those thickly packed halls and the overcrowded parking lot of the city's main school campus, the sheer number of people could sometimes be overwhelming to the small town girl. There were more people packed in that tiny building then had even existed in that town she had grown up in. Mixed with a brand new syllabus and a teacher she didn't know and Abigail was often left feeling downright exhausted after that first week of classes. It was almost natural, that decision to escape to the forest after all that....peopleness. The trees were so quiet, they were so comforting and safe and amazing and awesome and Abigail had long since found her absolute favorite place within that thickly packed forest. Her own species were hardly wanderers by any means. Their territory was kept small and Abigail was hardly atypical in that sense at all. She moment she was free of her human skin (which resorted in several squeals of utter delight), the girl quite near beelined it towards that little nook that had become her's, not that the little panda was territorial in the slightest.

She hopped and jumped and crawled and climbed her way up that little tree she happened to favor over all of the others within that forest, the young woman quite content to simply flop upon that branch with a near happy grin upon her features. Her lips parted in a ready yawn before she rested her little head quite contently upon that wood. Her feet dangled off of it, the girl entirely assured it would hold her weight. Rather, Abigail was content to merely close her eyes and listen to the nature that surrounded her - the chirp of those birds, the skittering of the squirrels and the chipmunks. All of it was quite peaceful when those human voices were simply absent. That that she hated humans at all....they were just....sometimes....so....over.....and then she was asleep. Her little chest rose and fell with a sort of steadiness, that branch simply supporting her as those minutes stretched on...and on..and ON. In fact, it was quite near nightfall before the little panda moved, even if it was to simply roll over. She kind of sort of missed the itty bitty fact that there was kind of no where to roll over onto except for...well...air. And just like that...she was tumbling.

And falling.

And swimming through the air.

She was like a fish but her little fins weren't going fast enough.

Her eyes opened with some measure of sleepiness.

Oh god.

She wasn't a fish!

AHHHHHHH. Her limbs started flailing with a sort of intensity as the girl tried to right herself. For all the things that Abigail was, a cat was certainly not one of them. She was going to die. She was totally going to die. She was going to fall and break her back and die. She was certain of this in those last few moments as she stared up at that tree only to land with a thud on something...white...and warm...what was this? The girl rolled to her side, eying that whiteness. Snow! She fell on snow! But it was so warm....and snuggling...snow wasn't warm! Wait a second! The little panda leapt to her feet and, in turn, the snow moved, promptly causing the girl to quite near tumble off that mound of moving warm snow. Ahhhh! IT WAS AN AVALANCHE!
