South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

The dark hunter absolutely abhorred those missions that involved the undead. They, he was certain, were absolutely the worst sort of parasite. Their bites often left him itching, assuming their poison did not contain some sort of special property that left him so far out of his mind they thought he was incapable of hunting them. It hardly made a difference in the outcome. He slayed each and every one of them that he had been tasked to all the same. A frown crossed his features as he reached up, his fingers itching at those two puncture holes that tickled all the same. The god damned thing bit him. He could already feel it's venom rushing through his system, originating at that wound in his shoulder and spreading through his blood all the same. He needed to find that leech and quickly, before the effects of that vampire tore through him as it had all the other victims he'd left within his wake. Alexander had seen the pictures. He'd seen the bodies of those the man had murdered - sucked dry as if they were but mere husks. It was not a pretty sight, the number of wounds that marred their frame - the things that he had done to them, the ways he had violated them. Alexander was quite near determined to bring it to an end tonight.

It was with a light flick of his wrist that the Macedonian King rid that blade within is hand of the blood that had coated his tip. He had gotten the vampire, he'd run that sword through the creature's side. It had hardly been enough to kill the creature all together. No, he'd be stalking the darkness for some sort of prey, for a means to heal that wound that Alexander had caused. That weapon quite near disappeared from his hands, vanished into thin air as Alexander pulled his trench coat tighter to his form, making every effort to appear entirely normal in a crowd of equally normal individuals. The hunter stepped from that alleyway, joining the flow of individuals and yet, all the while, those blue-green eyes remained acutely peeled for any sort of indication of just where the creature had gone - a bloody hand print here, a brush of wetness there. All of it was trackable by the near ancient conqueror. He had played this game for long enough. He knew those tricks they used to run away. They would not save that despicable creature - not tonight.

His head tilted to the side as he stepped off of that main thoroughfare, following those now scant droplets that drifted here and there. The trail was clear though the vampire was beginning to heal slowly of his own accord, likely in thanks to Alexander's own blood. His nose twitched ever so slightly as that scent assaulted his heightened senses. There he was. The bastard thought he could escape. His pace quickened substantially as the hunter all but ran down the alleyway, turning quickly to the next. His vision started to blur ever so slightly around the edges, creating a near feathering halo effect. Shit, that blood pumping through his system was only making that venom spread all the faster through his body. Everything required careful timing. Alexander gritted his teeth, his gaze falling upon the sight of that man just at the edge of the alleyway. He could see the back of the creature, sizing up the woman he clearly intended on taking - that poor innocent human. She would hardly stand a chance next to him. Without him, she would end up just like all the others.

Alexander leapt forward just as the creature teleported, his hand reached out, that age old blade near appearing within his fingertips quite near instantaneously. He watched as the creature leaned down towards her neck, that voice a mere whisper and yet, the hunter heard it all the same, just as his blade slid true through the bones that made up the vampire's rib cage and into his very heart. That sharpened tip extended from the other side, coming just a near inch short of touching that young woman's flesh. Another beat was all that was given before the vampire's heart gave out, the creature quite near slumping back and into the ground. That sword disappeared before the vampire could hit the cobblestone underneath, Alexander fell heavily against the nearby wall. It was all turning hazy, like the world was just slightly out of focus. The dark hunter took a deep breath, focusing his breathing. He was going to be forced to simply ride this out, wasn't he? A small frown crossed his lips and yet, his blue-green eyes turned towards the young woman near him. That poor innocent thing. "That was a close one." He muttered softly, a single hand reached out towards the girl, shifting her hair just enough to view her neck. "Are you okay?" Alexander inquired, hardly trusting his own eyesight to make sure. "He didn't bite you, did he?"
